These people are aggressive, rude, and sexist. In 6 years of living in NYC with my car only one other garage (funny enough a different LAZ location) have I had such an awful experience with a garage’s staff. Not only are they in the business of price gouging, when called out for it they become gaslights, combative and nasty. Save yourself the headache and your wallet from the ripoff and take your business one block south to Emerald Green Parking on 38th- I usually do and certainly will continue to after my experience with these clowns.

Save yourself the headache and your wallet from the price gouging, and take your business over to Emerald Green Parking one block over on 38th! I live here and have parked at many garages over the 6 years I have had a car here in NYC. I can confidently say I've had only one other experience with garage staff as bad as this. The staff here are liars, price gougers, and next level rude/agressive. I had the same little attendant that is so brilliantly featured in another review below, and he harassed me because apparently his co-worker did not put my reservation in correctly; he then proceeded to argue with me (even though I had the reservation clearly in my phone), and when he couldn't win the argument, he proceeded to charge me a $15 fee because he said my car (which has always been considered a compact car at every other garage) was an SUV. He then continued to harass & patronize me with sexist comments, eventually refusing to give me my car until I paid the fee that should not have been charged in the first place. I decided at that point to take things up with my bank and dispute the charge. Then- on top of all of that- while I was waiting for my car, he and his co-worker proceeded to talk about me disrespectfully while I was waiting. I assume he thought I didn't speak Spanish, but he was wrong; I understood every word... His co-worker eventually brought my car out and also proceeded to verbally harass me and yell at me as I was getting in my car because I "didn't thank him". This place should truly be shut down; I see so many comments now talking about their price gouging and similar experiences to what I am describing. There are so many better options in the area with staff who aren't there to harass or overcharge you. Absolutely abysmal experience and would never return or recommend this place.
