- GTGian Marco TomaschettMay 10, 20261.0Very disappointing experience at the New York City location. We had a fully paid voucher and all required documents with us. Unfortunately, we only had a physical debit card, while our regular credit cards were available digitally on our phones. Despite traveling with a lot of luggage and three small children, we were simply told “sorry” and sent away. The manager on site was unfriendly and not helpful at all. We then had to take a taxi to LaGuardia Airport to get a car there instead. The whole situation felt unfair and unacceptable, especially for international travelers and families.

When I raised the issue, the staff refused to address it as they were busy with other customers and deferred it to a “busy manager” who never called/followed up. This kind of evasive behavior erodes trust. I expected better transparency and accountability from a professional rental service. Credits where it is due - my car pick up was fast and easy. Car was in great condition. Sneaky charges on return erased all that good experience Edit: Thank you Natalie for your response. I already sent an email to the customer service before I posted the review here. Would appreciate if I can get a reply to my concern in the service request
