- TFTania Fraser1 day ago1.0I went to this location for an oil change on August 14, 2026 I also had a radiator flush. Immediately after the service my car started having issues. My husband brought the car back and spoke with Roger the Manager and he just told him we needed a wheel alignment. My car broke down today and is shows there is NO OIL in my car. Please do not let them work on your car get a second opinion

- MPMartin PastorAug 4, 20261.0I’ve been coming to the Valvoline in Vails Gate for years, and it’s usually a good experience. This visit, unfortunately, wasn’t. I waited about 20 minutes just to get into a bay, which I understood because it looked like the employees were short-staffed and helping multiple vehicles at once. The issue came when I was told they couldn’t remove my oil filter because it was on too tight. The technician said the last place that changed my oil must have overtightened it. Ironically, the last place that serviced my car was this same Valvoline location. The manager was polite and professional and explained that if they broke the filter, they might not be able to replace it since they’re not a full mechanic shop. I appreciated his honesty. What I don’t understand is why the old oil was drained and new oil was added before confirming the filter could even be removed. They ended up not replacing the filter and charged me half price. In my opinion, I shouldn’t have been charged at all for an incomplete oil change. I understand that mistakes happen and appreciate the staff’s professionalism, but this experience was disappointing.
