  Not a fan. They damage vehicles and don’t pay attention to details. What a shame.

  My car needed a transmission fluid drain and fill, I went into the live chat for Valvoline to get an estimate of how much it would cost to get this service done. Not sure if the live chat is AI or an actual person, but I informed them that my main concern is that I would get there for 5:20pm since closing time is 6pm would they still be able to service me, the valvoline chat personnel expressed that as long as it’s before 6pm I would be taken care of. I made my way there, I arrived to the Jericho turnpike location 5:22pm, I was greeted by a gentleman he asked “how can he help?” Told him I was here for a transmission drain and fill, he told me no problem please go to bay number two, I got to bay number two, I was approach by a second technician, he came to me and asked “how can he help me” I told him I’m here for a a transmission drain and fill. Then he goes on to tell me not today because he does not have transmission fluid, and all day he has been turning customers away because of the lack of supplies. I told him thank you and drove away. Now from my view technician number 1 said it was okay giving me the go ahead ,to get the service done, because if they did not have supplies technician number one would’ve told me so, since technician number two, has been turning away customers all day because they did not have transmission fluid. Now I understand it is late , they had a car in each bay (2) making my car to be number 3 to service, technician number probably did not want to service me because it was getting close to closing time (6pm but I got there for 5:22pm), from the outside looking in your establishment should always have product for the services that you offer. Honestly hands down the worst experience.

  Please do not risk damage to your vehicle by having these technicians work on it. I visited the Jericho Tpke Valvoline on 5/23/26 for a transmission oil change, the vehicle information was taken, hood popped and work started. After (5-10) minutes the manager, Saurel, came to me and said they could not change the oil. One of the oil pan screw was stripped and I had to take the vehicle to a mechanic. I informed Saurel, no one had ever changed the transmission oil and any damage would be due to his actions. I asked to see the screw, but was told I could not exit my vehicle. I then asked for a picture, at this point the technician came up and blurted out that the screw was very tight and would not turn. Saurel was taking a long time on his phone to send the picture. Looking at the blurred picture, I noticed the newly exposed shiny metallic surface where it was over-torqued and stripped it- Just as the technician had said. I contacted their customer service and filed a complaint, but was told my complaint was denied. I have an appointment with a mechanic to fix the stripped over-torqued screw. So save yourself having to fix damage to your vehicle.

  The service team that took care of my vehicle was great and very informative. They let us know what was being done each step and assured us that they weren’t going to add additional stuff that wasn’t necessary just to jack the price up.
