I recently had a low tire pressure warning and took my car to the Great Neck Mavis location, where I paid to have the issue repaired. Unfortunately, the low tire pressure light remained on afterward, indicating the problem had not been properly fixed.
I then visited the New Hyde Park Mavis and explained the situation to the manager, Paul Smith. He immediately took care of the tire leak at no additional charge because the repair should have been done correctly the first time. When I offered to tip him, he kindly declined and suggested that I tip the technician instead, which speaks volumes about his leadership and character. He also topped off my windshield washer fluid at no charge.
Paul is a true professional and an outstanding manager who clearly puts his customers and employees first. His honesty, professionalism, and exceptional customer service turned a frustrating experience into a very positive one. Because of him and his team, I will absolutely be returning to the New Hyde Park Mavis for future service. Thank you, Paul, for going above and beyond!

We went to this Mavis for a slow leak on pass front tire. Shop said they will try to repair. Called back and said tire is not repairable. I told my father to keep the good tire to put as a full size spare and get 2 new tires. We get the jeep back and what i thought was the good front tire. Few days later to today I go to mount the tire on a new rim and when i get home i see the tire has a white square indicating a repair. It was plugged not patched. I go back to shop and ask why did you give me a repaired tire? What happened to the good tire? They then tell me both tires were a problem. Ive been a mech for over 20 years. I ask them to show me the other tire. Should be a mark like this tire saying where the leak is. Tried to tell me will take a while to find the tire. They found it and no mark of where it was leaking. They have to mark as practice where leaks are from to show why it is or is not repairable also to not confuse with good and bad tires. So either they gave me the wrong tire by accident, or kept the good tire for resale and charged us to scrap it or the non repairable tire was repairable and i have the good tire back? BUT why give me a song and dance story that both tires were bad and that one tire was not repairable but other is? Was this to solidify the over 500$ bill for 2 new tires?
