  Stocked like most commercial auto parts stores. Which doesn't say much as you'll probably find the item you're looking. The big variable is checkout time. Everyone wants good customer service and you'll see at times ppl at the counter being attended to and we'll all will want this attention spending our hard earned money. But, then a line will form and you'll be waiting to checkout. Once again, totally understandable ppl asking questions while checking out, but when a line forms and you see sales clerks just talking to each other not helping customers and all of a sudden after they're finished talking to each other and decides to help check ppl out. This is not good customer service! Now to be fair, I'm not saying this is their usual practice, but this was my experience today purchasing something. Giving the middle of ratings, 3 stars as meh... not good, not bad. Your experience might be better I hope...

  I am extremely disappointed with the way the manager, Javian Rosario, handled my experience at the Mount Vernon AutoZone. His staff initially processed my purchase using a commercial AutoZone account and then gave me the wrong products. When I returned to correct THEIR mistake, Javian suddenly refused to allow me to use the exact same commercial account they had already accepted for the original transaction. I specifically asked him to show me where AutoZone’s policy states that a commercial account cannot be used at this location, especially when AutoZone’s own commercial program indicates these accounts can be used beyond a single store. He could not provide me with any written policy supporting his refusal, yet continued to refuse the transaction. What makes this even more unacceptable is that I would not have needed to return in the first place had his staff provided the correct products. Instead of taking accountability for his store’s mistake and resolving a very simple issue, Javian chose to make the situation more difficult. As a manager, you should know your company’s policies, make sure your staff is providing customers with the correct merchandise, and be capable of resolving problems your own store created. The lack of consistency, accountability, and basic customer service at this location was unacceptable. AutoZone should seriously review how this location is being managed and clarify its commercial account policy with its management team, because customers should not be inconvenienced because a manager either doesn’t understand the policy or chooses not to follow it consistently.
