  Overbooked and didn't manage expectations at all. I showed up on time to my reservation but was still considered an all-day job. There were half a dozen cars that still needed to be worked on before mine. The technicians were cherrypicking the easy cars and left mine for last because it was a "3-hour job" and couldn't promise it would be done by end of day.

  They replaced the windshield on my 2014 E250 Van two days ago and everything went smoothly. I got there at 8 am, they promptly got the van in, it took a little longer because of the age of the vehicle, but the job was done beautifully and all of the decals and toll device are perfectly intact. Excellent and friendly crew.

  It's been 5 weeks since my windshield repair appointment at the Bedford Hills NY location. They broke the internal rear view mirror attachment. I was told it was on order. Never got a straight answer as from where it was ordered or when it would arrive. Manager has avoided me, head tech passes the buck. No one answers the phone. This was to be pushed up the line to someone with authority. I never received a call. It's too bad the rating system forces me to give one star. They deserve less.

  ⭐ 1-Star Review — Extremely Disappointed The lack of customer service from Safelite is absolutely unbelievable. I had damage to my glass back in January, and I have now experienced EIGHT canceled appointments. What is most infuriating is that Safelite does not notify me ahead of time that they don’t have the necessary part. I find out after I have already rearranged my schedule and taken time off from work for an appointment that ultimately gets canceled. I even contacted my insurance company, and they confirmed that the part was ordered. So how is it possible that I continue to show up—or make arrangements to be available—only to find out that Safelite still doesn’t have what they need? I am LIVID. This has been going on for eight months, and I have repeatedly been inconvenienced because of Safelite’s lack of communication and organization. My time is valuable, and I should not have to keep taking time off work for appointments that Safelite cannot fulfill. This is completely unacceptable customer service. Eight canceled appointments is beyond ridiculous. I would expect much better from a company of this size.

  yeah, I would go somewhere else. My tech Paul was FANTASTIC and super responsible. He installed the replacement windshield on my 2020 Tesla but after installing it, he noticed there was a slight imperfection in the glass and called me to tell me about it — said they would order a new one, but I would to wait a week or so for the glue to harden or else it’d be a real mess upon the subsequent replacement. That’s totally reasonable; mistakes happen. I picked up the car and didn’t even notice the glass imperfections and decided to blow off getting a replacement, as I was totally satisfied with how it looked. The problem came with his clown manager, Henry, who didn’t seem to understand what was going on. Henry hadn’t returned me my key card upon pickup and the next day I came back to pick it up and unfortunately Henry was there. told him what’s going on and that I was fine with the installed windshield I didn’t mind a slight imperfection. However, the entire transaction was like he never talked to me the day before & completely forgot who I was. It seemed like it was his first day of the job, but apparently it wasn’t. He. was also getting off the phone with somebody but he had called the wrong customer. I REACHED ACROSS THE DESK, GRABBED MY KEY CARD, AND RAN FOR THEM HILLS.This guy is a mess though technicians are very good and woefully overworked Be forewarned.
