  Safelite canceled my mobile windshield appointment three times — the latter two without explanation or notice. I waited around at home for them all day each time (while missing work!) across a span of two weeks since my windshield was initially broken. All the while without a car as mine was unsafe to drive. When rescheduling, they made no attempt to prioritize my canceled appointment (I would have expected some kind of effort to fit me in sooner). This is completely unacceptable for any business, especially when I paid them over $1,000 ahead of time for the service. I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews but I’m frankly furious that Safelite wasted so much of my time.

  I had a great experience at Safelite with Shemar. He did an excellent job replacing my windshield, and I’m really happy with how it turned out, especially because there was originally a problem with the sensors. I appreciate his work and would definitely recommend him.

  If I could give zero stars, I would. What should have been a simple windshield replacement turned into an absolute nightmare. When I picked up my vehicle, this Safelite shop had lost my key fob and spent nearly 30 minutes trying to find it. They also ruined both my New York registration and inspection stickers during the windshield replacement. They refused to reinstall or replace them, leaving me to pay out of pocket for a duplicate registration sticker and another vehicle inspection just to receive a new inspection sticker; all because of damage they caused. To make matters worse, they returned my vehicle without calibrating the camera built into the new windshield, meaning the job wasn’t even finished. Why would you release a customer’s vehicle knowing an important safety feature had not been properly calibrated? No one has called to explain, apologize, or arrange a convenient appointment. Instead, they continue scheduling calibration appointments without my knowledge or approval. The lack of communication, accountability, and respect for my time and property is beyond frustrating. I was scheduled initially for a completed, professional service and walked away with additional expenses, wasted time, and more problems than I had before. Completely careless and unacceptable. I will never use Safelite in Mount Kisco again and strongly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere.

  When the service man arrived he was quick and personable and did a very good job. My issues are with scheduling and how long it took to get a service person to show up. My first appointment was cancelled the day of service after I changed my whole afternoon. The appointment was scheduled for the next day and after again waiting all afternoon I called to find the person was not coming after he apparently called the wrong number. Another afternnoon of mine wasted. Then when I tried to get another qppointment I was told I had to wait more days. I finally had to speak to a manager to get someone here the next day and that worked. This was far different from my exerience years ago.
