I contacted this dealership about a vehicle in their inventory and simply asked whether there were any dealer discounts, referral incentives, or promotions available. Instead of receiving a professional answer, the salesperson responded in a sarcastic tone and questioned why I was asking for a discount on an $81,000 vehicle, implying that asking for $1,000 off was unreasonable.
My question is simple: who wants to pay more than necessary? If $1,000 is such an insignificant amount, then why not offer the discount?
What makes the experience even more disappointing is that just two weeks later, I found the same model at another dealership with more features and options. The original MSRP was around $89,000, and it was discounted to $81,000 — an $8,000 difference.
So I'm left wondering: if this dealership couldn't (or wouldn't) offer even a $1,000 discount, how are other dealerships able to offer $8,000 off similar vehicles?
There is nothing wrong with saying "we don't have any discounts available at this time." However, customers should not be made to feel foolish for asking a perfectly reasonable question. Professionalism and respect cost nothing.

my family purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2023 Chevrolet Suburban from Mt. Kisco Chevrolet. While there were aspects of the experience that we appreciated, the overall ownership experience has been disappointing.
After putting down a good faith $1000 deposit to secure the vehicle, we were informed by the sales representative we were working with that the car had been sold to someone else and there would not be an update regarding next steps until the sales manager returned the next day. This was especially concerning because we were purchasing the vehicle from out of state and had been told the vehicle was ours. After speaking with the sales manager, we were excited to learn there was a miscommunication amongst their team and we were ready to move forward.
We traveled to the dealership the following Saturday to take delivery. Unfortunately, heavy rain limited our ability to thoroughly inspect and test drive the vehicle. We relied on the dealership's Certified Pre-Owned inspection and were provided documentation showing the vehicle had passed inspection. We were also told that the brake system had been replaced with new components (including the front rotors being resurfaced) as part of the certification process.
The team was attentive and helped us handle a couple small appearance issues we noticed on the car upon our inspection (broken interior cup holder, dirty behind the seat storage, etc) - I also want to note they were very accommodating with my two toddlers, providing hot wheels cars, snacks and patience in the required back and forth between my husband and I with the kids in tow.
However, two days after taking delivery, we noticed an abnormal engine noise during startup. Our local Chevrolet dealer diagnosed it as a minor issue that was covered under the Certified Pre-Owned warranty. While we appreciated the warranty coverage, it was disappointing to require service less than a week after purchasing the vehicle.
Approximately three weeks later, a repetitive screeching noise developed from one of the front wheels. Our local Chevrolet dealer diagnosed the issue and advised that the front rotors needed to be replaced. Given that we had owned the vehicle for only 36 days and driven fewer than 750 miles, we contacted Mt. Kisco Chevrolet to better understand why the front rotors had not been replaced during the Certified Pre-Owned inspection. We were met with varying degrees of deflection - from “they’re just trying to sell you something” to “this is from normal wear and tear”. Again, we’ve had the car for 36 days and put less than 750 miles on it - neither explanation addresses why a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that had reportedly undergone a “thorough inspection” and brake replacement would require front rotor replacement almost immediately after purchase.
Needless to say, while the sales staff was courteous and accommodating throughout the purchase, the quality of the vehicle preparation and the lack of accountability afterward fell short of what we expected from a Certified Pre-Owned program.
Not a great experience and disappointed in what feels like misleading information regarding Mt Kisco’s inspection processes. Would not do business with this team again.

I had such a great experience here with Angie! She was helpful, knowledgeable, considerate. It made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. Definitely the best experience I’ve had at a dealership.
I have been buying Suburbans from here for a long time, but after the last one I purchased and was told while sitting with the sales person, “oh fyi the price will be $10,000 more than the manufacture price”. I have been very disappointed with this store and how they alway give you the bottom of the Blue book trade-in price, even when the suburban looks amazing and running great according to their mechanics, since I used to always take my vehicle into their auto shop. Then after inflation started hitting the US, the cost to have your vehicle maintenance at this dealer is obnoxious and honestly not worth it since you never get loner vehicles.
I found a mechanic I trust and stopped going to this Chevrolet and have decided not to buy from this store again because of how often they take advantage of everyone.
I just read through all the one star and two star reviews. I wish I had read through them before I ever bought any of my vehicles from here. So happy I found a mechanic that does not try to rob me blind. I will find a different Brand after reading all the reviews, because they are scary!

I recently purchased my fourth Chevrolet Suburban, and I can confidently say that Carlos Barrajas is the best salesperson I have ever worked with.
Carlos was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. He was patient, kind, and respectful throughout the entire process, making sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way.
What I appreciated most was that he never pressured me into making a decision. Instead, he focused on understanding my needs and helping me find the right vehicle. His professionalism, honesty, and exceptional customer service made this the best car-buying experience I’ve had.
If you’re looking for a salesperson who genuinely cares about his customers, I highly recommend Carlos Barajas.
