    I had an absolutely terrible experience with the Mineola Enterprise location. I called ahead and was assured that the paperwork was being completed and that Enterprise would pick me up from the car shop within 20 minutes. The shop was only 8 minutes away from Enterprise. After waiting over an hour — and after the car shop had already closed — the shop owner ended up driving me to Enterprise himself. When I arrived, the employee left to get the car. He came back about 10 minutes later and said, “I just vacuumed it for you.” I asked if the car had actually been cleaned, and he admitted it had not, but said he vacuumed it because he “knew I was in a rush.” I was not in a rush — I had already spent over an hour waiting for Enterprise to pick me up after they failed to show up, and now I was being told the only car available was dirty. What makes this even worse is that the car shop owner specifically called ahead and asked if there was a clean car available, and the employee said yes. That turned out to be completely false. The level of dishonesty and lack of professionalism was unbelievable. Needless to say, I was not accepting a dirty car. The shop owner then had to drive me all the way back to my own vehicle, and over two hours of my time was completely wasted. Do not go to this location. The office itself was disgusting, and there appeared to be only one employee who clearly does not understand customer service, honesty, or respect for other people’s time. Poorly trained, poorly staffed, and completely unprofessional. Find another Enterprise location.

    Thank you to Prince and Juan for being so professional and helpful throughout my rental process last weekend. I truly appreciate your patience, especially when I had an issue with the vehicle and for going above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied. The level of customer service exceeded my expectations. Lastly, special shoutout to Prince for setting me up with the Mazda last time. I really appreciate it.

    I had a reservation through insurance for a car at $40 a day. When I arrived, they told me nothing was available in that range, and I'd be stuck paying the difference out of pocket. It's not much, but it's the principle of business. You know someone reserved a car for that price, so make sure you have one for them or tell them before they arrive. Being 3.5 hours from home, I had no choice but to pay the difference. Plus, I had to wait 30 minutes for them to fill it up and clean it for me. What's the point of a reservation if no car is reserved within the predetermined budget, and I'm waiting for the car upon pickup? Update: The windshield wiper was broken on the rental. I was told to go to AutoZone, put one on a car that's not mine, and hope I get reimbursed, as they "don't have any vehicles on the lot to swap me into". Just bad overall bad customer experience

    My first time renting from this Enterprise Mineola, NY location. Had a car accident (other driver ran red light) and USAA has a contract with Enterprise. My rental was extended by my insurance company, on the day that I was scheduled to return the car I called this office multiple times while I was at work to let them know I was going to return the car after work. Someone kept putting me on hold and never picked up. I asked my mother to call since I was at work , and she encountered the same problem. She actually left her cell phone on speaker for over an hour while doing chores , and no one ever took the phone off hold. She also called multiple times. This was 2 hours of trying to reach enterprise in Mineola. My mother also contacted their headquarters customer service line , and they told her they would send a message to the Mineola office about the time the car would be returned. When I returned the rental car after work, the staff member asked about my experience, and I told him that I couldn’t reach anyone for hours. He claimed they were “short-staffed” (same three guys were there when I picked up my car). This is unacceptable to not have at least one person answering the phones if the other two are assisting customers. They aren’t that busy all day either. They purposely didn’t want to answer the phones because they kept putting the calls on hold every single time we called (on a Friday). I don’t recommend using this location. Customer service & communication is obviously not their priority! An experienced manager should be required to “spot check” these offices , and adequately staffing their offices. The phone is their main source of income.

    Ruined my vacation. So i booked a wrangler 4 door (not like wrangler or similiar but specifically wrangler) as you can see on booking pic, it doesn't say "or similiar" because i paid extra to book it. I even called enterprise 2 days earlier to check and if everything was good with booking and i am getting 4 door wrangler since i was going to an off road trip and its important to be comfortable with vehicle you will be traveling in. I was assured by their rep that everything is in order and if by any chance there is a change you will get a phone call from branch to let you know. Day of pickup i go to this location, waited 30-40 minutes before anyone could attend to me and then was informed they don't have any wrangler. It literally felt like bunch of high school kids working part time were running everything in that place. Suggested i should take nissan rogue for offroad adventures instead of 4 wheel wrangler because it would be safer. It got to the point where i felt no more necessary to argue any further but to say just cancel the reservation and walked out. Avoid enterprise and especially this location.
