I am new to the area, so I do not yet know many people who can refer me to reliable and honest local businesses. I am so grateful that I found this tire shop.
My tires had been damaged after driving through construction, and Leon treated me with such grace and respect. I explained to him that I had already had some disappointing experiences with other auto service places in town, including a dealership, so I was asking a lot of questions because I wanted to make sure I understood everything clearly and was protecting myself from being taken advantage of. Leon completely understood and was empathetic.
He walked me through several possible ways to fix the problem, explained my options clearly, and we came to a solution and agreed on a fair price. He also allowed me to leave my car there overnight. As a bonus, I had just had my car washed that afternoon, and because my car was kept inside, it was protected from the torrential downpour we had that evening. So he saved me from needing another car wash too!
Leon also made sure the replacement tires exactly matched the tires I was keeping. He ordered them, had them delivered on time, and promised my car would be ready by 1 p.m. the next day then called me before the promised time to let me know everything was completed.
I picked up my car, took it for a test drive on the highway, and it is running perfectly. I could not be happier with the service. As I get to know more people in my new community, I will absolutely recommend Leon and this shop to others. He was respectful, honest, professional, and caring from beginning to end. Thank you.

I had purchased 4 tires from another company about a month ago. Today the front and rear tires on passenger side were flat. Husband inflated them with a compressor and we went to Mavis because it was the closest. The manager came out, looked at the tires and called a technician to take a look as well. They said they would put the car on the lift and take a look. Five minutes later the manager comes out and says all 4 tires are fine but apparently when the new tires were put on the valves weren’t replaced so they were what was leaking. $5.00 and 20 minutes later I’m back on the road. I called at 1230 about having a hard time getting a scooter tire to seal . No other place would even talk or look . The guy rob said come on in. I came in 5 minutes fixed. HE WANTED NO MONEY . JUST HAPPY TO HELP ME . DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE9

Service manager Isaiah P. Helped us out with our tire rotation. We originally came for a replacement on our Tesla winter tires, but he was very earnest and walked us through why the tires we were trying to replace would be a hazard for us. He thoroughly examined both our current tires and the ones we were trying to replace and made it easy to understand that a tire rotation of our current ones would be the better and cheaper option for us, while still offering us other available alternatives.
Overall, service was swift and very professional, and friendly. Will come again next time, 5 stars.

Wonderful customer service. Vons & Kareem were excellent to deal with along with superb communication. I had gotten a big screw in my jeeps rear right tire that plugged it completely. I was able to get into Mavis Discount Tire within 30 minutes and they had the tire patched and ready to go within 30 minutes (keep in mind they were extremely busy today when it happened to my jeep).
Also I’d like to add that they are the cheapest in the area with every other tire shop I called while also being the most friendly over the phone + in shop; AND highly accommodating. I had my senior retired service dog with me & they made sure to accommodate us in a very short notice. My senior dog now has seizures and I as well am diagnosed with stress-induced seizures.
They allowed my retired service dog & I to wait inside in the seating area and I was able to set him and I up in the corner seat comfortably while we waited.
Again, 10/10 would recommend Mavis Discount Tire on Dolson Avenue to anyone. The price is right for a patch for the tire, and the customer service and tire service was quick, easy to deal with, and very comforting to my senior fur baby & I.
Don’t waste your time anywhere else!
