I had a really great experience at Mavis Discount Tire today. I was SERIOUSLY stressed because I was far from home (3 hours away) and noticed my tire was super flat and basically no good, especially knowing I still had a long drive ahead of me. I stopped in hoping they could help, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating.
They checked everything out and were able to put my spare tire on for me, which I truly appreciated. They were professional, helpful, and made sure I was able to get back on the road safely.
Overall, I appreciate the service and assistance I received today. Having car trouble when you’re far away from home can be stressful, so I’m thankful they were able to help me get the spare on and get me back on my way. Thank you to the team at Mavis Discount Tire! Super pleasant!

I dropped my car off and left it with them for over three hours, only to return and find that the work still had not been completed. I was told the delay was due to a power outage, yet the power was clearly back on when I arrived, and my car was still sitting untouched with no one working on it.
To make matters worse, I noticed a strong smell of burning oil afterward, which has left me questioning whether the oil change was even performed properly. Overall, the experience felt extremely unprofessional and poorly managed. The lack of communication, urgency, and attention to the vehicle was very disappointing. I expected much better service from Mavis and will seriously reconsider bringing my vehicle back in the future. Do not go to this location.

Mavis on Dolson Ave in Middletown NY is great! The crew there is very helpful, very knowledgeable, very professional and caring. I was in to get an oil change and I had some concern issues in regards to my tires. I knew it was pretty much in time to get new ones so I spoke with the guys there and we were able to figure out a tire that size that would fit my car that was in my price range they went above and beyond by doing a price match for me. We’re very helpful very sweet nice people able to get a Mavis’s credit card so I can get the tires I felt very comfortable. I felt like they knew what they were talking about, and I felt at ease with them helping me even though I’m a woman sometimes some auto shops will take advantage of being a woman, and I did not feel that way at all. Highly recommend the shop on Dolson Avenue in Middletown, New York. Great people really nice to work with address all my concerns and questions all around five stars.
