  I caught a flat on the Jackie Robinson Parkway while I was on my way to an interview. I Googled the nearest tire shop and made my way to The Tire Place, hoping it would be something simple. When I arrived, Cathy had one of the mechanics check out my tire. Unfortunately, I didn’t just need air, I needed a replacement tire. They didn’t have one available, so they had to order it, and I was told it would take about an hour to arrive. I was honestly feeling defeated. I told Cathy that I had an interview in 45 minutes and was still about 30 minutes away from the interview location. I had no choice but to wait, so I started calling to see if I could reschedule my interview for later that day or another day. They told me they would call me back and let me know what would work best. Then Cathy did something I will never forget. She sent one of her mechanics over to ask if I would be comfortable with him driving me to my interview I was hesitant at first, but I accepted. He drove me to my interview, and thankfully, the interview went extremely well When I returned to The Tire Place, I thanked Cathy over and over again. She simply told me that she felt bad about what happened and wanted to help. A week later, I found out that I GOT THE JOB! I truly believe that sometimes the kindness of a stranger comes at exactly the right moment. Cathy didn’t have to go out of her way for me, but she did. Thank you, Cathy, and thank you to everyone at The Tire Place for not only fixing my tire, but helping me get to an opportunity that changed everything. ❤️ If you’re ever in the area and need a tire, please support this business. You never know how much a simple act of kindness can mean to someone.

  This is the best auto mechanic shop I have EVER been to. Cathy, the owner, is amazing. She is honest and fair in addition to being professional and courteous. Her mechanic, Frankie, worked diligently until he found a leak my vehicle had and he also fixed the problem with my A/C. James is another employee who was kind enough to drop me off home when I had to leave my vehicle. I have witnessed the other employees interacting with customers with the same professional demeanor. I am so grateful to finally have an auto mechanic shop that I trust and one who cares about their customers.

  Exceptional service — Cathy and her team are the real deal. I brought in my 2011 Acura MDX to The Tire Place in Middle Village, Queens for an extensive repair — rear brakes, rotors, caliper, motor mounts, tie rods, A/C service, air filter tube, and a full 4-wheel alignment. Cathy was transparent, professional, and genuinely cared about getting the job done right. The quality of work speaks for itself. OEM parts, precise alignment, and the check engine light that had been on is now off. My MDX drives like a different car. Finding an honest, reliable mechanic in NYC is one of the hardest things — Cathy is the exception. She stands behind her work, offers a warranty, and includes lifetime tire rotation. That kind of accountability is rare. If you want your car treated with care by people who truly know what they’re doing — The Tire Place in Middle Village is your shop. I’ll be back and I’m sending everyone I know here.

  I was in a access a ride vehicle that had a tire problem. And they let me sit there and wait for my rescue ride to come get me. The front desk lady was very nice. And Frank I think that was his name was very nice as well. Thank you
