  I rent quite a bit with Sixt and have rented in quite a few locations but with this one I must say I had an especially positive experience. Even though they didn’t have a line for Platinum members it was still relatively quick and professional. Deborah was really kind and very helpful and for me service is a huge priority. I will probably try for my next rental to specifically rent from this location

  I have rented from this location many times. They have an amazing selection of vehicles. I recently rented a red BMW 3 Series M Sport with black rims, and it made my weekend road trip even more exciting and fun. Thomas, the branch manager, provides great customer service. Upon returning the vehicle, Angel helped me out and made the return seamless! The location is very convenient, right near public transportation and Citi Bike docks, so it’s easy to get to and from the branch. It’s also convenient to fill up on gas in either New Jersey or elsewhere in Manhattan before returning the car.

  Highly Recommend this SIXT if you are looking to rent a car. I was immediately greeted and helped by a very professional young man who was named Michael. He had me checked in, set up, and upgraded me for a great price to a really nice car! I will be back :-)

  Amazing staff and service. New and clean vehicles. I was offered plenty of options to choose my vehicle from which I don’t usually get somewhere else. It was also easy to extend and make changes to my rental duration one click away. Overall, it was an excellent experience with Sixt at battery park.

  This location is so incredibly racist and discriminatory. I had a friend go in for a rental car that she paid the deposit for—of hundreds of dollars— and not only was the clerk ignoring her while she spoke and going on his/the phone, he continued to question where she was from. My friend is a hispanic woman who has lived in the city for years, with a valid drivers license, and banking cards including credit. Despite paying the deposit and charging her credit card they said the transaction was declined due to insufficient funds—I need to stress that this charge is STILL on her card! Overall, do not go here, especially if you have an accent of any kind. Incredibly rude and disrespectful workers and frankly expensive cars for nothing special. And when her and I tried calling into the office or corporate to speak to a higher up about this payment issue, we were met with the run around. This place is not worth it, find a place that respects you as a client and cares about getting business not one that discriminates based on accents (DESPITE DOCUMENTATION THAT IS VALID!) and charges cards for services that are not upheld!
