  I had an excellent experience at the Sixt Long Island City location. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and efficient. The manager stood out in particular—extremely friendly, compassionate, and truly attentive to customers. You can tell they genuinely care about providing great service and making sure everything goes right. Both pickup and drop off were flawless and smooth. I highly recommend this location for car rental. I felt well taken care of throughout the entire process. The staff treated me with respect and made me feel like a valued customer rather than just another transaction. The vehicle was clean, ready on time, and the entire process was quick and hassle-free. This location sets a high standard for customer service. I would definitely rent from here again.

  Needed a car for the weekend and had a great experience at this location. Shabab was extremely helpful during pickup, making the process quick and easy. Raheem was also friendly and helpful when I returned the vehicle. Excellent customer service from both of them. I would definitely rent from this location again.

  Shabab and Rahim were really nice and helpful. I went there on a Sunday after 1:10 pm. And they close at 1pm. But they still helped me get a car. Even tho I didn’t get the car class that I booked, but their service made up for it. And the Manager was able to get me a different car on the next day and also discounted the price accordingly. Keep up the good work guys!

  I would not rent from these people. It’s a clownshow. The people working there have no idea what they’re doing. They told us we could return a car after hours before 11:30pm. We showed up at 10pm, but the garage was locked up with no one in sight. Sixt corporate told us to just park it on the street with the keys in the car. This place tried to charge us a late fee and only picked up the car 2 days later. Then they tried to charge us for 2 extra days. I rented here because it was closer than the rental companies in Manhattan and cheaper. I will gladly take the subway to Manhattan and pay a higher price than deal with this company.

  Ich miete seit vielen Jahren bei Sixt und habe daher gute Vergleichsmöglichkeiten. In dieser Filiale gab es jedoch ein großes Problem bei der Fahrzeugübernahme. Grund dafür war, dass das reservierte Auto zunächst nicht verfügbar war und gleichzeitig ein sehr unangenehmer Kunde vor Ort war. Dieser versuchte, sein zuvor gemietetes Fahrzeug ohne ersichtlichen Grund zu tauschen. Als ich nach dem Grund fragte, wurde mir unhöflich gesagt, dass mich das nichts angehe – gleichzeitig wollte man mir genau dieses Fahrzeug anbieten. Zudem versuchte er, ein Auto aus meiner gebuchten Kategorie zu bekommen. Der Kunde wurde zunehmend aggressiv und beleidigte mich, obwohl ich anfangs gar nicht verstand, was überhaupt los war. Der Mitarbeiter reagierte schließlich schneller, als er die Situation und die Aggression bemerkte. Ich lehnte das Fahrzeug dieses Kunden ab, da ich den Eindruck hatte, dass er möglicherweise unter dem Einfluss von etwas stand. Nach insgesamt etwa 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten Wartezeit erhielt ich schließlich ein Auto, und der Mitarbeiter gewährte mir als Entschädigung zusätzliche Vorteile. Das Fahrzeug selbst war ausgezeichnet – hier gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Allerdings war der Innenraum nicht sauber: stellenweise war etwas verschüttet worden und es klebte. Es scheint, als würden die Fahrzeuge sehr schnell weitergegeben, ohne ausreichend gereinigt zu werden. Die Rückgabe verlief dagegen extrem schnell und problemlos – sie dauerte nicht einmal eine Minute. Alles war klar organisiert. Die Mitarbeiterin bei der Rückgabe war eine Frau. Insgesamt kann ich die Filiale dennoch empfehlen, da die unangenehme Situation eindeutig durch einen anderen, sehr schwierigen Kunden verursacht wurde (der sein gemietetes Fahrzeug aus Florida zurückgebracht hatte und es dringend tauschen wollte).
