  I have been a loyal customer of the Lockport Monroe for well over a decade. I brought all my company fleet vehicles there. Chris M is an amazing manager and we’ve become friendly. He is great with customer service. With that said, I missed a call regarding my tire. When I called the store directly back, the call went to a call center even though when they answered they said “Lockport Monroe!” I explained that I missed the call and was calling back to see what was needed. They asked if I wanted to make an appointment. I said no I just need to speak to whomever called me from the store. They asked me what it’s in regards to I told them and then said I just need to speak with whoever ever called me. I was asked again if I needed to make an appointment. I stated that my tire was already there and I just needed to know what they called me about. I was again asked if I needed to make an appointment. Then again, I asked to speak with somebody in the store and this is where they asked me my name and why I was calling. I told them to just put me in to the store. They finally did. The Monro corporation has eliminated any positive customer service with the shop and that is very unfortunate. I really do like the crew that is there especially Chris, but I will never return to that shop again until this impersonal calling center is eliminated. You can’t take away great customer service and expect your customers to continue to patron your establishments. Especially in a small town. I would give you zero stars, but the crew here are a great team and they do great work. Your corporate BS is going to make them look bad.

  Chris and his team did an excellent job. In and out in no time. Very good service and I love the tires he recommended.

  Total scam. Went there specially for a problem I was having with my driver side axel and tire. With squeaking happening more frequently everytime I press the accelerator and the brake. I told him about the context of how another shot could be months back about the same axle issue that I couldn’t afford at the time being and that’s all I wanna done besides the oil and rotation. They said it would take an hour. After the initial hour, I was explicitly told That there was no problems with my front whatsoever, Even though I specifically asked them again just to clarify. Instead, they claimed it was my brake cylinders in my rear tire (somehow) Even though I never heard a single sound coming from that side. They then quoted me $1500 Which was 400 more than I was willing to spend based on the previous quote from the previous shop. But I trusted them that they knew what they were doing, and so I went with it, without even checking to make sure they weren’t pulling a fast one on me. So imagine my surprise when About an hour after I leave the shop. (With the job taking 5hours btw) when the same noise is STILL there expect even louder sounding like my Driver side tire is about To fall off. You know, The same exact reason side tire that I went in there for the first place. The one that they explicitly said was good, And in explicitly charged me $1500 to fix an unrelated issue with the back that had seemingly no problems. I get having to run a business, I get having to make money, But they would’ve just as easily If they at least had the common sense to fix the problem that I was having in the first place instead of misleading me by saying everything is fine. And then upsell me to “fix” A problem that I can’t even trust that I needed. A rip off would’ve at least fixed the initial problem, A scam would’ve ignored it entirely and convince me I need their solution to something completely different. I recommend you go anywhere else. Your Money is better spent shoveling into a fire for kindling

  Im from Michigan & new to Lockport. Monroe got my car done in a timely manner. I had an issue with my tires and they realize how the issue occurred and were honest enough to take care of it. I was very pleased to have my car serviced there.
