I have been going to this Mavis location for some time, especially considering it is close to where I work. All the staff at this location are very helpful and knowledgeable in their work. They take pride in their work and explain things to you if you need things explained.

I had an excellent experience at Mavis Discount Tire in Lindenhurst. The team checked my tires, explained exactly what was wrong, and repaired the problem without taking much time. Everyone was courteous and professional, and they made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.

I brought my Dodge SUV in for an oil change. The MAVIS employee asked me if I’d be waiting in their waiting room or leaving and coming back later. I said I’d be coming back as my son would be picking me up. My son then picks me up and drives me over to the nearby 7-11 on sunrise highway for coffee. Guess who then drives over to 7-11 in my Dodge? The same Mavis employee that I just left my car with! The guy then proceeds to buy cigarettes from 7-11 and drive my Dodge away. Of course the Mavis employee then denied this ever happened.
I guess the lesson here is to always be careful with who you leave your car with! You can’t trust this location that’s for sure. He just wanted to know if I was sticking around to know if we could take my car for a joyride and run errands without my knowledge. Do better Mavis. Shame on you.
