  I have had a number of experiences at Mavis, most of them didn't end well. About 8 months ago I blew a tire and brought it there to be replaced. They did it the same day without much of a wait. But they put the wrong tire on the car-different rating than the other 3. It was discovered 6 months later when I brought it somewhere else for service. Ok-mistakes are made. The first thing the manager said to me was "you're not going to get a new tire". I asked for the regional manager's number and after 6 calls not being returns (he was in a lot of meetings), I finally was able to get them to do the right thing and replace the tire. He told me that the speed rating doesn't matter (incorrect), but he'd replace it anyway. Didn't think to check to make sure they put the right tire on the car-when "Tire" is in your name, you should be able to put the right tire on a car. I brought my car in to have the brakes checked a few weeks ago. Was told I needed new brakes and rotors. Agreed to do it and the work was done. Manager calls to tell me it's ready and gives me a price $150 above what he quoted. He said the car needs some sensors. I think he should have known that when he quoted the job. Paid the original amount. When I got there to pick up the car, after they had closed, I turned the car on and was met by 6 different warning lights telling me that various systems were not operational. I had to take the car and drive it the next day with all those systems not working and the brakes not working correctly. I called the manager who said that the car was tested after the work was done. If it was tested, whoever tested it ignored the warning lights. He said to bring it back in-the mechanic that was in that day really knew what he was doing (as opposed to whoever did the work on my car) and they'd get it fixed for no additional charge (nice of them!). They did get it fixed, but I drove the car 60 miles that day with the brakes not working properly and various safety systems not functioning. I'm done with Mavis in Larchmont.

  Jake gave me an amazing customer services! Love the new system! They have going on! Before I have my car serviced with an 1 hour and 45 min wait now I got my car serviced under 45 min! Definitely coming back highly recommended

  He sido cliente de este lugar por años y siempre recibí un servicio excelente, pero lamentablemente las cosas han cambiado. Fui hace un mes y regresé ayer, y la atención del nuevo manager es inaceptable. Es una persona arrogante y petulante que no sabe tratar a los clientes antiguos. Además, me dio un precio mucho más elevado de lo habitual sin justificación clara. Por su mala actitud, han perdido a un cliente de mucho tiempo. No lo recomiendo bajo esta nueva administración

  Van was sent in for alignment from my friends shop after getting new Tie Rods. Within 2 weeks and about 400 miles later both my front tires are bald on the inside. Tired are less than a year old and had only about 5000 miles total. Had to get a 2nd alignment from another garage. Wait till you see the diagnostic report. I mean was ANY work done.? Mavis now owes me 2 brand new tires and and reimbursement for the 2nd alignment in less than 2 weeks. Totally dangerous to send a vehicle back to the customer like this. Probably not a good idea especially on a 9000 pound van.

  I have done business in the past at a Mavis store at a different location. I recently took my car to this location as it was more convenient. Big mistake. I purchased a set of tires and sadly a tire got a nail in it. When I called this location to explain my situation the employee was extremely rude and then hung up on me. I also had brake work done there recently and the brakes are already extremely low. Very poor workmanship and extremely unprofessional. I reached to to Mavis Corporate to report this location and they are assisting me. Be warned that this location is awful
