  Made an appointment for a Sunday to get a state inspection. Received an email to call because there was no inspection on Sundays so I rescheduled WITH A HUMAN for Saturday at 5. Just showed up for my appointment to be rudely told there is no inspector. My fault for actually trusting a chain. Go local. Garbage place. Oh wait, update. There WAS an inspector there but he left his card on his kitchen table at home so he couldn't unlock the machine and didn't bother to call me because they were so so busy and I took a risk by making an appointment on the weekend. So this all was obviously my fault because this person was having a difficult time with his job. Makes complete sense.

  I purchased a set of wheels and tires from Tire Rack and arranged for them to be received and installed by the Monro store on Ulster Ave in Kingston, NY. I had an appointment and they were not able to do the work because someone called out that day. I was not notified in any timely manner. When I arrived I was met by the manager who had a very rude and dismissive attitude about the situation. I can understand that if I was being difficult, I might be given this level of service - but that isn’t the case here. I have an expensive vehicle and if I’m going to have people work on it, I’m going to be as pleasant as possible to them. I then decided to cancel my follow up appointment and when I went back to pick up my wheels, the manager was again being rude and then I heard him spitefully instruct a technician to bring the wheels out from where they were stored and to not help load them in my vehicle. He didn’t even whisper it. They left them 15 feet away from my vehicle just to make it that much more of a hassle for me. He had no regard for me as a customer. This is unacceptable and I will never do any business at this location in the future.

  Replaced all 4 tires on my F-150. Booking online was easy and the appointment was done in 90 mins giving me time to grab breakfast in a nearby diner. Free rotations too!

  Missed critical preventative maintenance.Brought my vehicle here for a major 100,000-mile tune-up. While the basic service was completed, the shop failed to replace the intake manifold gasket when reassembling the engine. At this mileage, reusing an old, brittle rubber gasket is a massive risk for future vacuum and coolant leaks. Disappointed that this industry-standard preventative step was skipped, which will now cost me double the labor down the road if it fails. I question were the plugs changed In that area Period Because why wouldn't someone change the gasket While the manifold is open Period that does not make sense at all!
