The service department at the Kingston facility leaves a lot to be desired. I purchased my RV there and have only serviced it there. Two incidents back up my claim: 1) I set up a service appointment for April the October before to replace an item in the bathroom. I brought the RV in on the assigned date and had to wait 2 weeks to have the service completed. That should not have happened with a six-month advance appointment. 2) The RV was damaged in a storm and was brought in during early spring to assess the damage and subsequently generate a costed damage estimate. It took them 7 weeks to generate the estimate, and that was only because of an email I sent to the service manager, with the general manager on copy. No way it should have taken that long.

Called for a price on a new refrigerator for my 40 ft Tiffin Phaeton . First call he would get back to me , second email their computers are slow ! a week and a half later I send him a nasty o gram. Now he’s probably gonna tell me that he can’t get the refrigerator or it’s gonna cost something like $12,000 to replace it which would be bull crap I’ll do it myself !!

I have read every single negative review and I believe every single word. I went to Kingston and the salesperson was horrible . First of all, she was loud when we were in her office discussing my personal finances . A little discretion was needed . She didn't seem customer service oriented or enthusiastic about any camper I looked at. She was not friendly . She was cold . She could not answer or maybe didn't want to answer any questions I had . It seemed weird . She left me alone to go in and out of some of the units and then rushed me off the property . She acted like if I was not going to buy today she had no time for me . I believe what the bad reviews say and in talking to the community , many people feel camping world Kingston is a terrible place to do business . They are not customer service oriented . They are money hungry greedy sharks . When will they learn that working with integrity and truly providing positive service gives the public good things to talk about that will help them bring in more customers ? I feel like they need to review and change how they do things . You do realize that the first thing in sales is to be a people person and make a connection with your customer right ? My logic is the reason why they can't do that is because of guilt . They know what they do is shady so they project that vibe. I been in sales for years. People who sell what they know is great and something they truly believe in are HAPPY SELLERS!!!! These people are not about quality service . Sorry .

Friendly but totally incompetent. Disconnect between service writers and techs. Installation of rear sway bar was botched partly because manufacturer didn’t provide correct bolts but the inexperienced went ahead with install without confirming bolts with parts list. As a result they underestimated the time it would take and the job was aborted. Wasted day. Save your money and go elsewhere.

She should be recognized for all the above, this woman has gone over and beyond with patience and I finally purchased my perfect RV destination trailer, if ANYONE needs a thorough, knowledgeable sales person! ASHLEY is the only person, I camped for 20 years, have owned 5 trailers, so I know the process, this woman is beyond exceptional, from start to finish!
