  Sales team is pretty slimy. Nothing about the experience was nice , it felt like entering a struggling car dealership in rough part of town. Price gouging tactics were bad almost 2nd degree embarrassment. Way to also tack on like 20k on top of the sale price. Coming from westernNY I should’ve just gone to the local options.

  Warning Camping World, Kingston, NY I normally give feedback directly to a business before posting a public review because I believe in giving people the chance to correct a mistake. Unfortunately, Camping World in Kingston left me no choice. I feel obligated to warn other customers, especially first‑time camper buyers, to proceed with caution, or simply take your business somewhere that values transparency and appreciates you.Our experience as first‑time buyers was a nightmare from start to finish. Our salesperson was checked out, communication was poor, and the entire process felt disingenuous. When we arrived to pick up our unit, the finance manager walked us through the paperwork and kept repeating that certain items were “included.” What he never said was that these items were part of a package we never agreed to purchase. On top of that, we were charged for items that were never installed because was previously determined that we didn’t need them. When I questioned the contract because the numbers didn’t make sense, the salesperson went to get the sales manager. His attitude and arrogance seemed to compensate for his lack of problem‑solving skills and personal skills. Instead of addressing the issue, he lied, blamed someone else, and then walked away to sit at his desk on his phone. I was left sitting in an office for an hour while they tried to figure out how to “correct” the situation. When I asked for an update,, they said they couldn’t inconvenience the next customer, so they offered a shortcut solution, not a real fix, just something to get us out the door. I hadn’t seen the online reviews beforehand, but after living this experience, I can say the negative feedback you’ll find online is not exaggerated. It’s accurate.I do want to acknowledge Ron and Jen in Parts. They were knowledgeable, honest, and the only bright spot in an otherwise terrible experience.

  Absolutely had a wonderful time today with Chris! He was super uplifting and encouraging the whole time we were together. Me and my boyfriend purchased our very first travel trailer today. Chris was informative and extremely supportive towards our preferences. I had an amazing experience here and I definitely recommend this location! Thank you so much for our new home Chris!!!

  pulled 158K out of the market for a purchase of a new 2026 Jayco Terrain. Sales person Scott Daniele then admitted it was not new it was used and had been driven to Colorado. I was still willing to buy it since I loved the van despite the misleading new label. Then an inspection showed it had a broken fridge/ sink / shower and broken break lights. Scott promised to fix everything. Showed up the next week for the pickup date and Bob from the service department told me they only saw the van "15 minutes ago" and could not tell me even basic things about it like how to turn on the solar panels. They also told me Scott never bothered to send them the corrections and the only correction made were the ones I directly told lance to make. I went home without the van since it was not ready but kept the deposit in place and never got a call back or apology. I then reached out myself to a manager Kelly Anderson to ask for an update and if we were going to fix this and they said they had a meeting tomorrow and will update me after. they never called me back. Never really write reviews, more confused then angry although I am admittedly angry. I feel like this was the easiest sell ever. I loved the Van and was practically begging them to sell it to me. If they had just reached out and said they couldn't make the fixes but would take money off so i could fix it I would have made that deal. But they kept getting in there own way and then ghosted me. Can't recommend at all. Please be careful or go to Blue compass or Crowley if you are in CT. oh, and if you are interested in one of the Jayco Van's get it inspected. they pulled things off the other Vans to make the few repairs they wrote down on mine. I doubt they put them back.

  Overall, average sales experience. Unfortunately, saleswoman who helped us didn’t close out the deal on a positive note. She never told the service department about a specific part of the deal she agreed to, so it wasn’t included. Sure, I could have had her write the deal details down (swapping mattresses and propane tanks from old rv to new), but a verbal agreement and handshake should still go a long way. I ended up having to do it myself with no assistance in their parking lot. Not the end of the world, but disheartening after spending MANY hours there purchasing an rv. She apologized and admitted it was her fault, as a customer, I felt pushed to the side.
