  I first made an appointment for an oil change last weekend but upon arrival, I was told that they did not have my oil filter and there were no businesses open to be able to deliver it. I understood and made an appointment for this weekend. I arrived on time and was told it would be an hour before my car could be taken. I went for a walk for an hour and came back only to wait another 1 and 1/2 hours for my car. As they were pulling my car out the garage door was down too far and pulled my antenna cover off. I was offered a refund on the cost to repair the antenna but no discount for my time today and the further disruption of having to take my car to a dealer to repair my vehicle. I also had to climb on my car to tape the cover on before the rain tomorrow. I don’t blame the employees for any of this. I have been a loyal customer for years and the wait times and service has just gone down the tubes. I will not be using Monro for my oil changes anymore

  Very weird place I got there needing a new tire about 6:30p and was told there’s nobody there to help me. I asked is there a day or time someone will be in and he told me no. Why are you guys even open? What is the point of this place? Shut the whole place down.

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Monro Auto Service. I brought my vehicle in due to poor acceleration, stalling issues, and diagnostic trouble codes. Based on Monro’s recommendation, I authorized and paid approximately $1,800 for a catalytic converter and resonator pipe replacement because I believed this would address the issue I brought my vehicle in for. After picking up my vehicle, the same issues returned within days. When I attempted to have the vehicle reevaluated, I was eventually provided with another estimate of approximately $2,200 for an exhaust manifold replacement. My biggest concern is not that additional repairs may have been needed. My concern is that while I was paying for the original repair, the manager informed me there was already a hole in the exhaust manifold. This information was not communicated to me before I authorized the original repair. Had I known about this issue beforehand, I would have wanted additional diagnosis and discussion before spending nearly $1,800. I attempted to resolve this through Monro’s customer support process and provided the requested documentation, but my concerns were not resolved. Customers rely on repair shops to provide complete information so they can make informed decisions about expensive repairs. My experience left me feeling that I was not given the full picture before authorizing the work. I hope Monro reviews their communication and diagnostic process so future customers are given all relevant information upfront.
