  Avoid this location. Careless work, damaged vehicle, and a manager who threatened to bury my complaint. I brought my vehicle to Valvoline Eastridge in Irondequoit for a routine oil change. What should have been a simple, low-risk service turned into a costly, infuriating experience thanks to the negligence of the technician and the outright unethical conduct of the manager, Michael. The technician assigned to my car was clearly out of his depth ,he had to repeatedly leave my vehicle to ask coworkers how to proceed. While pouring oil into the reservoir, he missed the opening entirely and spilled a significant amount of oil directly onto the engine, saturating the serpentine belt and pulley system. My car now squeals loudly every time I drive it because the belt is slipping in oil that should never have touched it. When I brought this to Michael's attention, instead of taking responsibility, he was dismissive, rude, and confrontational. He minimized a substantial spill as "a few drops," told me it "wasn't a big deal," and walked away without offering any resolution. When I said I'd be filing a claim, he outright boasted that he would cancel it — and then he did exactly that, shutting down my customer service claim himself. This isn't just poor service ,it's a manager actively obstructing accountability for damage his own employee caused. My vehicle is still damaged, the belt is still slipping, and this location has shown zero interest in making it right. If you value your vehicle and expect basic professionalism when something goes wrong, take your business elsewhere.

  This was the worst place I ever went to get a oil change. They tighten up my thing so tight, that when I needed to get another oil change from my mechanic, he could not take it off. I called the place they did not want to help They were talking some bull crack.\nAnybody I would not recommend y'all to go to this does vevoline place, did y'all get an oil change and I'm gonna go somewhere else. It gonna be hard for the person to take it off, their customer service was so horrible. So to the people that's looking at the reviews , listen to what i'm telling you all they are really bad

  Received an oil change today at this location, it was the most unbelievable experience! Everyone was so kind and talked me through the entire process start to finish. Michael, the manager was extremely thorough and knowledgeable, organized, and aware. The way he spoke with his staff was so refreshing to see he made sure everybody was where they needed to be while being super positive and kind to everyone involved. This level of expertise and respect as well as customer service is going to make me not only refer Valvoline to everyone I know, but also will make me a lifetime customer for all of my future automotive needs for any car I drive. They sure do know what they are doing!
