  Monro in Hyde Park is a great service shop. The manager is honest, organized, friendly, and always takes the time to clearly explain what’s going on with the car. Pricing is transparent and reasonable, and I’ve never felt like I was being pushed into unnecessary work. The quality of the work is exceptional. The mechanics are knowledgeable, thorough, and consistently go above and beyond to get things done right. It’s hard to find a shop where you genuinely trust both the people and the work they’re doing, and this is one of those places. Highly recommended.

  I called a number of places for my son and this place had an opening for an inspection. I reserved the inspection. My son, who works in the city, rearranged his work schedule and drove 25 minutes for the appointment, only to be told there were close to a many inspections ahead of him and to come back tomorrow, and that the person who made the appointment has no way to check the schedule for inspections. How do you have a system where you make appointments that there is no way you know if you can honor and I would think must have been done to others repeatedly in the past because this can’t be the first time this has happened? You are promising a time slot that is instead first come first serve and making people lose work time and travel for no reason. There is a real out of pocket cost for lost time and travel. Shame on you.

  it was the great 4th of july,in a heatwave weather,when emergency decided to rise with the heat in a mddle of nowhere.Punctured tire!! I found MONRO Muffler/ break services store183 as the closest place i can run to fix my tire..total stranger in this township but awesome experience! Had them look at my tire,due to the location of the puncture and with careful consideration of the pros and cons during this trip,we need to change my tire,Jon Gloster-store manager,very straight forward and very helpful guy,made this easy for me. He walked me thru the process, no frills.. also this place have GREAT STAFF,very responsive,respectful, friendly..Office is clean,comfortable..for being total stranger in this township in the midst of a very stressful situation, MONRO auto services,took care of me.. made sure that i am comfortable,that i am safe thru out my trip..i appreciate everyone in MONRO AUTO SERVICES STORE183,HYDE PARK NY, you guys are the best!!
