Very disappointing experience with the financing process.
My husband and I purchased a Hyundai Kona and, although the staff seemed friendly at first, they were not transparent about the loan conditions. We arrived with a pre‑approval from Chase, which they completely ignored. Instead of using it, they ran our credit multiple times without clearly explaining why.
The vehicle was priced under $20,000, but with the financing they arranged, the total amount exceeded $40,000. They also added products and services we did not request, including a $4,000 charge that was never explained to us.
When we called to request a refund for that $4,000 charge, they refused to acknowledge our request or take it into consideration. This has made the experience even more frustrating and disappointing.
I do not recommend this dealership for financing. If anyone decides to buy here, make sure to review every document carefully and do not allow them to disregard your bank pre‑approval or add unauthorized charges.

I recently purchased a 2026 Mazda CX-5 from this dealership and had a great experience from start to finish. The salesman Giovanni was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. I felt like I got a really good deal, and everyone treated me with professionalism and respect. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car.
The team at Empire is amazing. Sunni, Savvas, Josh, Mike Smith and front desk greeter. No pressure from start to finish. Everything explained and no BS. Thank you. Glad I went with the turbo. Zoom zoom!! Mazda vehicles are amazing and hold their value. See the team you won't be disappointed.

If you can avoid this dealership, please do. This place is completely untrustworthy.
My husband and I put a deposit down and actually signed a purchase agreement at an agreed price, with the clear understanding that we’d return two days later to finalize the purchase due to our schedule. We even planned it that way on purpose so we could complete the deal with Brendan Rogalle, since he was off the next day—we wanted to make sure he received the commission for helping us. Jahvon Prince, the floor sales manager, even shook our hands as we were leaving and confirmed the plan for us to come back two days later.
Instead, when we called the day we were supposed to move forward and have my credit run, we were told they had already sold the car.
So they took our deposit to “hold” the car, had us sign a purchase agreement, confirmed the plan and then sold the car anyway.
No courtesy call. No heads-up. Nothing. We only found out because we reached out to them. When my husband spoke to Jahvon Prince, he tried to cover it up by claiming they had called us—which is completely false. Neither of us received a single call. He wasn’t even apologetic, brushing it off with excuses like supposedly calling us and not running our credit even though we had agreed we would call Tuesday morning so they can run the credit in preparation for us to come in later that day to finalize purchase.
At that point, it’s hard not to believe they turned around and sold the car to someone else for more money just to hit their quota, because that’s exactly how this felt—like customers mean nothing and the only thing that matters is their bottom line. They went back on their word as soon as a better deal walked through the door.
This is not just poor communication, it’s dishonest, shady, and completely unprofessional. We acted in good faith, even going out of our way to ensure their salesperson was taken care of when we could have gone in on Monday instead of Tuesday, and this is how they handled it. Not only did they do this to us as customers, they did this to their own salesperson who lost the commission due to this mismanagement.
They had no problem taking our deposit and stringing us along, then backing out the second it benefited them. They clearly care more about making a quick sale than honoring their commitments or treating customers with basic respect. If this is how they treat customers before a sale is even finalized, imagine what happens after. Did we get our deposit back? Sure. After 2 weeks & several calls.
Consider this your warning, don’t trust them to stand by their word. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else.
