AMAZING STAFF. I was on my way to work and got a flat…. I was in such a rush and needed to get to work and the store was very busy. A nice worker Tyler came out and helped me remove the tire and patch it while doing other stuff to ensure I was able to get to work asap. The young man didn’t need to do it but he knew I needed to get to work asap so I appreciate him so much. I spoke with the manager Xavier also and he was a very helpful and kind guy. Will definitely recommend this location to others.

I'm writing this review because I received top level service without actually having anything done to my car. Here's the scenario, I rented a car and on my way to my destination I get a low tire alert on the dash, I go check the tire at a gas station and fill her up. The tire holds the pressure for a hot second and then starts leaking air, I headed to the closest tire shop which happens to be mavis tire. I waited maybe 25 min while they finished up prior cars, I spent that time throwing the football with my boys, which to be honest was fun for my boys and it kept my blood pressure down because I was pissed. The gentleman at the shop showed me the tire and explained that it can't be plugged since the damage was on the side of the wall and it would need a replacement tire. At this point not a big deal since I just wanted to get back on the road since I wasted a lot of time on the road, I then explained it was a rental and they advised that I don't replace it because rental companies will not reimburse me for the new tire. They then found a local hertzfor me so I can talk to them and then gracefully denied any payments for their time. I was surprised,I was expecting some type of charge but the owner told me not to worry about it since he can tell I was going through it. Ladies and gentlemen, you can't buy that kind of hospitality and I'm grateful to them because I really was close to throwing myself into traffic,lol. I dealt with 2 hours of traffic trying to get out of Manhattan and then this tire situation and I already lost most of day light and missed out on most of the day to relax with my family at our destination, so this meant the world to me. I hope this review catches more people's eyes and if I can at least win one reader over and have them go to these guys then Ill be happy that good people get good business.
