Not sure what else to say, but these employees are awesome!
My partner got home, and one tire was FLAT. We called a few places to see if we could get the tire replaced (keep in mind I said REPLACED), and no one would help us. This place was our last hope. Mind you, this all transpired at around 6 PM. We called, and they said they'd get us in and work on it before closing, so my partner slowly drove the car with the flat tire to the location.
I emphasized “replaced” because I'm used to dealerships saying we need to replace the tires, and we were expecting to spend anywhere from $190 to $1k+. We came back after a long walk and heard the number 3779, and we just thought it was $379.70 (which we didn't think twice about, considering how expensive tires are nowadays). After realizing they meant “$37.79,” I could have cried. I know patching tires is common, but we’ve never had the luck to find people who would rather patch the hole (which was tiny) and replace it.
We didn't know this was the course of action taken, and I'm forever grateful to this location's employees. Can’t wait to come back!

My experience today at Mavis, Jefferson Road, Rochester, NY tops the chart for stress free auto service. Not without initial hiccups the staff/management turned my scheduled appt around, suggested alternate tires, recommended needed services and brought my visit to conclusion in an acceptable time frame and for a reasonable price.

2 weeks of my tire sensor light staying on and showing passenger back tire pressure loss. Filled it, ...on again. Mavis took me right in "no wait" and looked for the leak to patch. They actually did about 30 minutes of investigating and in the end "such honesty" reported "no leak", if that wasn't enough, they even aided me by resetting the sensor. Thanks Nick! And did I mention "no charge". I will definitely use this place again!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Mavis Discount Tire on Jefferson rd.
I brought my vehicle in for a routine wheel alignment, and after the service my steering wheel was noticeably off-center and the car began rocking while driving—issues that did not exist before they worked on it. I returned a few days later because I was genuinely concerned that my vehicle was unsafe to drive. I was told there was no alignment technician available and had to come back another day.
When I returned for my second scheduled appointment to correct the first alignment, I waited about an hour before anyone even started working on my car. After the test drove and told me the work was complete, I got on the highway and immediately realized the vehicle was in even worse condition than before. The rocking became more severe, making the car feel unstable at highway speeds. I truly believe I could have been involved in an accident because of the condition my vehicle was returned to me in.
What was most upsetting was the lack of concern or remorse. At no point did anyone acknowledge the seriousness of returning a customer’s vehicle in an unsafe condition or show any urgency about the potential safety risk.
I trusted this shop to perform a routine service correctly. Instead, I left with a vehicle that felt unsafe to drive and with far less confidence in its condition than when I arrived. I cannot recommend this location based on my experience.
