  I have called the service department 8 times 3 at the end of the season last year. I have called the 5 times this year and no call back. The girl even said the last time we only have one person, should I leave them a note because they left for the day. I said they left I called 2.5 hours ago. Crazy

  I've never left a negative review for a business before, but my experience with Camping World Hamburg warrants one. From the moment we decided on a camper, the customer service was disappointing. After expressing our intent to purchase, we went several days without hearing from anyone. Communication was poor throughout the process, and we were passed from one employee to another. From the day we committed to buying until the day we picked up the camper, the process took 24 days. After spending over $26,000 on a travel trailer, we brought it home only to discover numerous issues that should have been identified during a proper pre-delivery inspection. These aren't minor cosmetic problems—they're significant enough to prevent us from using the camper as intended. When I called to schedule service, I was told they were backed up for at least a month. That's unacceptable when a customer has just taken delivery of a new purchase with multiple defects. A dealership should ensure that everything is operating correctly before handing the keys to a customer. The trade-in process was equally frustrating. I was told $9,000 was "the best they could do," only to see my trade listed for $17,000 shortly afterward. I understand that dealerships need to make a profit—I own a business myself—but nearly doubling the trade-in value immediately after purchase feels excessive and misleading. I've purchased from another RV dealer in the past and had an outstanding experience. I chose Camping World Hamburg this time simply because it was closer. That was a mistake. I will never purchase another RV from Camping World Hamburg, and I cannot recommend them based on my experience. If zero stars were an option, that's the rating I would give.

  I wish I could give zero stars. We purchased a brand new camper last fall and had concerns with a handful of things such as broken shower door, a screw popping up through the flooring where the slide goes over, a leak in the toilet, and warped cabinet doors. We brought it in for these concerns with a detailed list that we gave them at the end of March. We just picked it up today. Nothing fixed except two cabinet doors. So it took three months and numerous, numerous phone calls with barely any calls back to us. There are numerous bad reviews for this company in general, not just this location. We were thinking of trading in and upgrading but not with this company. You have lost us as customers..... July 5th These generic responses back from the company are beyond ridiculous as numerous phone calls and voicemails were placed throughout these three months with barley any response from them. Such a joke.

  Terrible experience. Bought a $50,000 RV, and had it delivered to a campground. Numerous issues upon arrival, starting with a missing valve on the grey water tank, a broken tv, electrical shorts in the awning system, and a couple other minor issues. Talked to them on the day of delivery, and they promised me to get soneone out to the campground to address the problems. Three weeks later, still nothing. Have called numerous times and received promises that someone would call me back by the end of the day. No one ever has. Even left a voicemail with the general manager, and no one has called me back. Finally got someone in service, and they told me they ordered a new shower door for me, which was not one of my problems. At this point, I am a very unhappy customer. Was extremely pleased with the service up to and including delivery, and I have been very patient while giving them time to address the problens during what I am sure is their busy time of the year. But, the constant lies about fixing the issues and failure to communicate have turned me off from ever doing business with them again. Now, I have to go to the next level to get the lemon that they sold me working as it should be working. I strongly recommend that people avoid this busines until they address the deficiencies in their service department.

  All sales and no people skills. I simply called in to ask if they would buy my camper. They promptly transferred me to the “appropriate “ person. He was very kind and we were on the phone for a while going through a grading system so they could let me know a general price. The first questions asked were the make and year of my camper. Long story short they said they’d call me back “right away” to let me know. Two weeks later no call back. So I give them a friendly call back on a Friday 1pm, I was never logged into their system so here I am ready to go through same process but no need, he said the reason they never bothered calling back is due to the year. THANKS, could have told me the first time. I don’t mind “the mix up” but just being a little courteous goes a long way…which he was not friendly. These folk are all sales, no people skills and definitely don’t keep their word. GOOD LUCK shopping or selling here.
