  I recently arrived on Long Island after a very long road trip from out of state during which I discovered that I had some suspension issues. Not knowing any mechanics on Long Island, I began Googling Auto Repair shops in the area where I would be staying. One after another, they explained to me that they couldn't see me anytime soon. Then I had the Good Fortune of calling Tom at Greenlawn Service. I called him from the Northern State Parkway explaining my situation and the urgency surrounding it, and he told me to bring the car right in. He quickly diagnosed the issue and explain to me that it could wait until I returned home to Pennsylvania. But I hated the constant noise and I also was impressed with Tom's manner. He didn't try to capitalize on my situation and tell me the work was urgent. He thoroughly explained what the problem was and that I would be fine if I waited till I got home to have the original mechanic remedy his defective work. So impressed was I with Tom's professionalism and expertise, that I opted to have him do the work. I brought it in a couple of days later and the car is back in top shape. I can't recommend Tom and his company strongly enough. Nice guy. Professional guy. In my case, lifesaver.

  My battery wasn't holding a charge. They replaced that and recommended some other minor work to be done. They were great the first time so I went back again and they were just as good. I will be back next time I need some work done!

  Got my brakes done here. Price was very good, especially considering there were some rust issues that made the job more difficult. I really appreciate their good work and service. I'd definitely go here again.

  The guys at Greenlawn did a great job on my brakes, and the price was actually lower than I had expected! The staff is very knowledgeable and reliable.
