PS never go through HR they don’t honor warranty’s and they don’t care about the customer, if it wasn’t for Angelo, I’d be using another tire shop!

Excellent customer service. The staff were extremely professional, friendly, and handled my walk-in car inspection thoroughly.
I wanted to extend a special gratitude toward the tech Will, who noticed that I was struggling to find my wheel lock key in the trunk of my car, and went out of his way to help me remove my spare tire and find my wheel lock. Without his help, the lock would have remained missing and I would have had to complete my inspection on another day. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness.

WARNING: Highly deceptive business practices. Proceed with caution!
I have never written a negative review in my life, but the sheer dishonesty of this shop left me with no choice. I came in to get a simple nail puncture repaired on a tire which is in the surface of the tire. This tire is less than two months old. They called me trying to ask me into a brand-new tire replacement.
When I refused and said I would pick up my car, they crossed the line. Actually this morning, I personally aired up the tire in my garage, and it was completely full when I drove it here. Yet, when I came to pick it up after declining the sale, there was suddenly a second nail glaringly stuck in the outside shoulder of the tire (in a very obvious spot, nowhere near the original puncture).
It is highly suspect that this second nail appeared only after I declined to buy a new tire. Purposely compromising a vehicle's structural integrity is a severe safety hazard. By forcing a second nail into the shoulder of the tire, they made the vehicle incredibly dangerous to drive, putting my family's safety at risk on the road.
I am documenting everything and fully reserve my right to take legal action against this shop. If this unethically damaged tire leads to any future road incidents or accidents, I will absolutely hold them legally accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
To prove how unnecessary their replacement demand was: Right after leaving, I took my car to Northside Car Care nearby. (Maybe 0.1 miles away ) They successfully fixed the original puncture AND safely removed the second nail without any issues. They didn't try to force a new tire on me at all. Avoid this place if you value your safety and your wallet.

I was told the wait time for a NYS inspection would be about one hour, which is typical for a scheduled service like this. When I returned an hour and a half later, my car was still sitting in the exact same spot—untouched, with no one around. A few minutes later, an employee finally appeared and said they needed “just a few more minutes.” Those “few minutes” turned into another 40 minutes of doing nothing but waiting.
Eventually, another employee told me there were only two people working and that the online appointment “means nothing.” If that’s the case, they shouldn’t offer appointments at all. An inspection should not take more than an hour per customer, and because of their delays, I ended up extremely late for my next appointment.
Mavis Tires clearly does not value your time and acts as if they’re doing you a favor by taking your car. I won’t be returning—there are plenty of other shops that respect their customers.
