  Made a 3:30 appointment for NYS inspection weeks ago for today. Arrived 10 minutes early and waited till 4:10 until they took my car in. While waiting 2 people are picking up their cars and the woman (Crystal?) at front desk is trying to "upsell" them both and then after 20 minutes comes out with my car invoice and said we replaced a windshield wiper so that will be $31.00 plus installation fee. I said you should have let me know before installing a new wiper. She said it wouldn't have passed inspection. I said that would be my right to be forewarned. That is dishonest. All you had to do is walk back inside and let me know. Installing a wiper is a simple "click." What if it was both? What if it was the oil filter that you told me last year was "obsolete" and wanted to charge me $110.00 for an oil change and then threatening me by saying it would ruin my car. They were the ones who put it on the year before. BTW I'm still driving with it. She has to go! She's not even nice to people and quite frankly is condescending! I have been taking my car there since the place was built. I long for the good old days when Anthony and John would take care of you and do everything to give you the best service that kept me a repeat customer for 7 cars I have owned. Not anymore! GET RID OF HER.. then I'd consider using Monro again. What a terrible business practice!

  2 places told me I couldn't plug my tire that was leaking hard and I'd have to leave the car overnight. I wanted to try one more place so I hurried over to Monro on a bad leak. Monro saved my new tire, pulled a lag bolt out of all things, and plugged it. I've been running fine on it since. All for $38. Recommend

  Had tires rotated. Went to change my brakes and couldn't get the lug nuts off. Over 130 pounds of pressure used to get them off and broke a 4 ways lug wrench in half. They DO NOT torque the nuts properly. Also beware they will not always use the proper oil grade for your car. I will avoid this place from now on.

  Nice staff. But, they messed up a shock installation in March 2026 and I just called back today in early September at 2:30 pm on my second effort to learn my car, after being there all day since 7 am, will have no oil change, inspection or shock recheck. Basically, my car has a major flaw that began with this team and I’ve made a significant effort to give them a second chance with plenty of forewarning and it has added up to a total failure.
