  I recently used Safelite’s drop-off service to replace my car window, and I’m honestly disappointed with the experience. After picking up my vehicle, everything seemed fine at first. But once I rolled the window down, I noticed a small crack at the top of the glass that wasn’t visible before. That tells me the window was already damaged when it was installed, and it was not properly checked before returning my car. What concerns me most is that this could have easily been caught with a basic quality inspection. Instead, I drove away thinking the job was complete, only to discover an issue afterward. If you’re considering Safelite, I strongly recommend having a technician come to your home or staying present during the installation so you can inspect the work in real time. The drop-off service may be convenient, but in my experience, it leaves too much room for oversight. I’ll be following up to have this corrected, but this situation definitely impacted my trust in their service.

  I scheduled a mobile windshield replacement because I specifically did not have time to bring the car into the shop. On the morning of the appointment, they called and said the technician had called out sick and nobody else was available. Annoying, but understandable. I rescheduled for another mobile appointment a full week later. Then, at midnight the night before the second appointment, I received an email saying the replacement windshield still had not arrived yet — the same windshield that should have already been ordered for the original appointment the week before. It has now been another 4 days with no follow-up, no update, and no communication from anyone. Now, nearly two weeks have been wasted between cancellations, poor communication, and failure to even have the part ready. If you schedule mobile service appointments, customers should reasonably expect the technician to show up and the windshield to actually exist.

  Made an appointment online, It was canceled for no apparent reason. Then was told i need to come in to the shop, Main reason I made the appointment so i don't have to go in. Went into the shop had to wait 2 hours (Normal) Job at the end was shotty. The seal around the car front windshield was done horribly and told to me with many excuses on why it was done bad. Overall the service is Mid at best.

  I had to go back 3 times and the third time walked in a bit earlier and had to wait 30 minutes to just be able to get inside the garage. Always overcrowded, impossible to reach out by phone. They have no direct phone line . I hope I don’t have to go back and the windshield won’t leak .
