  I sold my XC40 to this dealership, and I had a fantastic experience. I worked with Joe, who was professional, kind, and honest. He explained their offer on my car and was candid about what they could offer versus a place like CarMax. I was happy to sell my car to this dealership because of the great customer service and, if I do buy another car at some point, I'll come back to this dealership. I had a much better experience than I had at Volvo Manhattan!

  I rarely write reviews like this, but after what I have experienced, I feel obligated to share my experience with anyone considering purchasing or leasing a Volvo. I was genuinely excited to get my first Volvo because of the brand’s reputation for safety and being a trusted, family-oriented company. I believed I was choosing a company that would stand behind its product if something went wrong. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite. My vehicle experienced multiple issues back-to-back, requiring repeated service visits that affected my job because I rely on my car for work. The final time, my vehicle remained at Volvo Cars Glen Cove for approximately one month. When I picked it up, I personally spoke with the service manager and explained that after all the repeated issues, I believed the vehicle was a lemon and needed a resolution. I was told there was “nothing wrong” with the vehicle and that any further issues needed to be handled through Volvo Car USA. Even more upsetting, I was told that if I did not remove the vehicle from their lot, they would call the police and have the vehicle booted. After everything I had already experienced, I found this treatment completely unacceptable. I contacted Volvo Car USA on April 8, and my case was eventually transferred to Sedgwick. Volvo ultimately AGREED TO REPURCHASE MY VEHICLE—yet months later, I am STILL waiting for them to complete it. On July 2, I was told in writing that Volvo’s funding typically takes approximately 2½–3 weeks. That timeframe passed with no resolution. On July 28, after I followed up again, I was told Volvo’s internal funding process was still incomplete and they could not provide a completion date. Throughout this ordeal, I have complied with everything requested of me and continued making payments on a vehicle Volvo has already agreed to repurchase, while spending months chasing Volvo and Sedgwick for basic answers. My case has now been escalated to Volvo Car USA Executive Management, and I have begun the formal complaint process with the New York State Attorney General’s Office. What disappoints me most is how Volvo has treated me when problems arose. I went from being excited to own my first Volvo to dealing with repeated vehicle problems, significant time without my car, an unacceptable interaction with dealership management, and months of fighting to complete an already-approved repurchase. For a company built around safety, family, trust, and premium quality, I expected far more accountability and customer care. Based on my personal experience, I would never purchase or lease another Volvo and strongly caution anyone considering the brand. No customer should have to fight this hard to get a company to stand behind its product.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing experience with Volvo! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and truly taken care of. The entire sales experience was smooth, easy, and completely stress-free. Everyone was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and never made me feel pressured. I’m so happy with my new car and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. You can really tell that they care about their customers and want to make sure you leave happy. I highly recommend Volvo to anyone looking for a new vehicle and an exceptional car-buying experience! Thank you to the entire Volvo team for making this such a wonderful experience!
