- MSMarcello SobottkaSep 23, 20265.0Great shop. You want a trustworthy mechanic, Chris is your man. Went to Pep Boys for years until I got screwed so I decided to take a chance with a local shop and will not go anywhere else but Al's Preferred & son. Been going to this shop for years and never had a problem. It's a miracle my 97 Firebird still passes inspection but I have always found that Al's Preferred & Son was always honest about what needs to be done. Passed inspection again and couldn't be happier. There are not many auto shops that you can still trust but once you try Al's you won't go anywhere else. Fair and more than reasonable prices but most of all you won't get screwed here. Chris will take care of you. I'm surprised he still takes my car in. One year an electrical problem on my car (not his fault) almost sent him to the hospital but he fixed it in no time and better than anyone else and still welcomes my business. He really saved me from a potentially bad situation (if not fire) later. He is that good! I will always recommend this shop to all my friends. Thanks again for a great experience Chris.
