On the morning of Saturday, Aug 29 - Mavis' systems were down. However, I needed my tires replaced. My existing tires were too worn to plug the leak, so I was dependent on them to complete the replacements as we had an event we had to be at that afternoon. Ryan and Issac diligently went about making sure my tires were properly replaced despite the absence of their computer system. They were polite and understanding throughout that time and committed to making sure my wife and I were on our way as quickly as possible. I've never used Mavis before but their professional handling of the situation will have me coming back for many years!! Thank you Ryan and Issac!!

Arguably the best Mavis store I'vee been to. It runs like a well oiled machine, with the manager, Ryan, setting the tone of excellence in customer service, and making sure the techs in the back are doing what needs to be done, as well as correctly. Will not go anywhere else for servicing movie forward. Great job with the team Ryan.

Absolutely terrible experience at Mavis Discount Tire in Fishkill.
I originally came in for a passenger-side flat and was quoted around $230 for a replacement because they didn’t have the tire in stock. I came back the next day, waited about 30 minutes, and only then was told they had ordered the wrong tire…strike 1. On top of their mistake, they raised the price by about $40…strike 2.
I was in a bind, so I gave them another chance and came back again. Somehow, they assessed the tire incorrectly a second time and tried to raise the price another $40, bringing a basic tire replacement for my Mazda to roughly $310….. STRIKE 3!
I ended up taking my business straight to Arlington Auto & Tire and had the job done…for $230!
Three visits, repeated mistakes, wasted my time, incorrect information, and nearly $80 in added cost because of errors on their end, and they didn’t even attempt to make things right on my end. The entire experience felt dishonest and completely unprofessional. I’m certain the basis of their business is to rely on customers not knowing enough to question the pricing.
DO NOT trust this location with accurate pricing, time management, or basic attention to detail. I will never bring my car back here and would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any work.

I brought my car to your facility for a state inspection and left believing that I had passed. I was later surprised to learn that the inspection had actually failed because of my windshield wiper blades.
What is most frustrating is that no one informed me of the failed inspection before I left. The technician who inspected my Subaru spoke very highly of the vehicle, but apparently failed to tell me that the wiper blades caused the inspection to fail. Had I been informed, I would have addressed the issue immediately. Instead, I walked out of the facility believing that my inspection was complete and that my vehicle was compliant. This could have resulted in me unknowingly driving with an expired inspection and potentially receiving a ticket or fine.
I have been a customer of this facility for more than 15 years, and I had also recently brought my other vehicle there for an inspection, which passed. Given my long history as a customer, I expected better communication and customer service.
What made the situation even more disappointing was my conversation with Ryan. Rather than acknowledging that there may have been a communication failure, he flatly accused me of refusing to have my windshield wipers replaced. That is not what happened. If I had been properly informed that the vehicle had failed inspection because of the wipers, I would have had the opportunity to make an informed decision about replacing them.
Ryan's response came across as dismissive and lacking in basic customer courtesy, especially toward a customer who has been coming to the facility for more than 15 years. He even sarcastically offered to have the vehicle inspected again, rather than addressing my concern about why I was not informed of the failed inspection in the first place.
I am not upset that the wiper blades failed the inspection. I am upset that I was not properly informed and then was accused of something I did not do when I raised the issue. I believe a long-standing customer deserves honest communication, professionalism, and basic courtesy.
I hope management will take this complaint seriously and address both the communication failure and the way this matter was handled by Ryan.
