  Jeremy at the shop was quite the helpful individual. They're all good at this Eastchester location but I think Jeremy is exceptional. I was there the day prior to have a tire replaced that had a sidewall bubble. Jeremy was not in that day and although the service was good. A mistake was made that should not have happened. I called to make an appointment for 12:30pm, asked the associate to verify they had the make and model tire in my size on stock and he confirmed they did. I arrived at 12:16pm and was not seen until 2:06pm. The door sill reads air pressure for tires is 39 and it was filled to 38. Not off by much but how and why not just go to 39psi? They were kind enough to inform me I had a better I'm so that I can decide whether to balance all 4 tires as I requested but given that I'd have a shimmy off of the 1 bent rim I opted not to and saved a few dollars. Again they're good here for the most part. I went home parked my car and when I finally looked at the tire I was given the incorrect tire. 2 sets of eyes were on this tire, the associate that met me at the desk and the associate that installed the tire both of which missed this error entirely. I didn't think to look at it like I usually do because of the lengthy discussion I had at the desk and again 2 sets of eyes looking at the tire. This is where Jeremy shines. I called and spoke to Jeremy and he said to come in and he'll have my tire replaced with the correct model. I asked him to go look at it before I left home to ensure they actually have the correct model. He did so and put it aside so it wouldn't be sold inadvertently. I than asked to be reimbursed for tolls to and from and gas for today's trip and as I'm coming from Brooklyn. At first he said there isn't a manager that could approve it and after further discussion he asked what the amount was that needed to be reimbursed. I provided the toll amounts and calculated the mileage to and from and what my car gets for combined city/hwy driving and the amount I paid per gallon 2 days prior. The total was $28. He said he would make it happen. As soon as I got there Jeremy saw to it my car was worked on almost immediately. He reimbursed me with funds from petty cash and provided a receipt for the transaction including the reimbursement. He later went as far as ensuring all my tires were filled to the manufacturer's recommended specification. That is going above and beyond to resolve an error. Thank Jeremy. And thank Mavis Discount Tire Eastchester for hiring Jeremy. Please see to it that man gets a promotion and a raise. He is a gem and is well worth it.

  Do not under any circumstances go here! Made appointment for 4 tires and rear brakes. 2400 estimate. When I arrived I asked if I could see the brakes as estimate did not include calipers and l did not want surprise. The guy said you are next, just wait a few minutes. An hour later he had disappeared but the one person in the shop Abi said it would be another hour as he was alone. He at least apologized and said to come back tomorrow and he would take me immediately. I came back next day but Abi was not there. Same counter guy as previous day said I would have to wait 45 minutes at least. I asked if I could make appt and come back. He said even if I had an appt I would have to wait as he was not going to take someone off another job. The last part was openly hostile and clearly they don’t have a functioning appointment system or care about business. What has happened to Mavis?

  Abimael was incredible! We were stuck after I got a flat leaving the hospital where my dad had just gotten surgery and I also had my 83 year old mom with me. He went out of his way to get us a tire and install it for us. I really don’t know what we would have done without him!

  I hate to do this but considering the circumstances that I encountered in my recently scheduled tire replacement appointment at the Eastchester Mavis location, I felt the need to share. Last weekend I noticed a bubble on one of my tires and ordered a tire and scheduled the service for this past Monday on Mavis's website. Knowing that it's best to confirm, I called Mavis on Monday and they confirmed that they did not have the tire yet. So I asked what was the latest I could bring the car in on Tuesday to have the tire replaced and was told 5pm. On Tuesday, I called & spoke with Dean(?) in the AM to confirm the tire was received and that 5pm was still good. I was told the tire arrived but they were backed up and most likely couldn't get it done that day. He suggested that I call around 4pm just to confirm if things didn't open up. I did this and spoke with Robert(?) was told they were still pretty full and decided to schedule an 8am appointment for this morning (Wednesday). When I arrived this morning, I was told by Daniel(?) they did not receive my tire. Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating experience, considering the hazard I'm facing with driving this vehicle with a bubble. Communication is key to a happy customer and I wish that I had received better information from this location's team. Thankfully, I was able to secure the tire I needed at another location today.
