  Took my car in for an oil change. I’ve had a known gas line leak behind my engine air filter for at least a few months. Most likely longer. Very small leak, barely noticeable, never any spots on the ground. They took out my engine air filter and it seemed like they had a hard time getting the air box back in. They mentioned the gasline was leaking, so I figured it was just the normal leak I had known about. NOPE. I started driving and the smell of gas was so strong. I pull over, get out, and check. Gas is basically pouring out. It’s really bad. I drive back. They tell me they didn’t touch anything. Gas would’ve been pouring on the person doing the oil change if it was already like that when I brought it in. I know it wasn’t like that before, because I’m constantly checking for leaks under my car. Right before bringing it in, I was filling my tires and checked for any leaks. Nothing. Now all of a sudden, immediately after the oil change, gas is pouring out. But they had nothing to do with that?

  Fastest & best experience I’ve had at a Valvoline; which is crazy speed wise given they even changed my left turn signal! This will definitely be my go to location for quick car services. Very kind professional employees here. Thanks again! MAJOR EDIT: I originally left this review happy with my experience, but unfortunately that changed very quickly. On August 28, 2026, I brought my vehicle to Valvoline for an oil change and turn-signal service, which I paid $111.22 for. At the time, everything appeared to have gone well, and I had no reason to believe there was an issue. On September 1, just four days later, I drove my vehicle to work. As soon as I pulled into my work parking lot, the engine shut itself off. During my break, I checked the vehicle and discovered that it had lost essentially all of its oil. I was unable to drive the vehicle home and had to have it towed. I ultimately incurred $455 in towing, diagnostic, and related repair costs, as well as $196 for a rental vehicle while my vehicle was being dealt with. I also incurred $100.10 in Uber expenses, $46 in additional gas expenses, and approximately $160.55 in lost PTO as a result of the incident. My additional out-of-pocket costs came to approximately $957.65. Including the original $111.22 Valvoline service, this resulted in approximately $1,068.87 in total costs. I had the vehicle inspected by another repair shop, and they determined that the oil filter from the recent oil change had not been properly tightened, resulting in the oil loss that caused this incident. I have documentation supporting their findings. I have relayed a detailed account of the incident to Valvoline, including how the costs add up and the documentation supporting the findings. I have made multiple attempts to contact them and give them an opportunity to address the matter directly. Unfortunately, as of October 6, I have received no response. I originally had a positive experience and had no intention of leaving a negative review. Unfortunately, what happened just four days later, the costs I have incurred, and the lack of response afterward have completely changed my opinion. I would still prefer to resolve this directly with Valvoline, but after repeatedly attempting to make contact without receiving a response, I feel it is important to update my review to accurately reflect what occurred.
