  Excellent service from staff. Rented a mini van to get around NYC and had some issues with the first 2 rentals. The staff at LaGuardia ensured everything was made right and as a customer it made me feel valued. Thank you National!!

  I recently needed to make a change in my day and drop-off location for my rental car return. National was timely in responding to my request via their texting process. My change was handled quickly and to my satisfaction. Also National's Emerald Aisle pickup process is top notch versus other rental car companies. National is on top of their game.

  I had the best rental car customer service experience I've ever had anywhere at the National Rental Car location at LaGuardia airport! Starting with Joseph C, my shuttle driver from the airport to the rental car pickup, and Hugo, my shuttle driver back to the airport after my trip. And, everyone I interacted with in between at the rental office was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Larry who walked me to my car, oriented me to the vehicle and gave me driving tips for the area. Also, the Honda CRV was perfect! Start to finish, a 10/10 experience!

  Severe lack of communication, sudden price hikes, and poor customer management. ​I have been a loyal, continuous customer with National Car Rental at LaGuardia Airport for over three years with zero issues—until a recent management change. ​After years of smooth monthly rewrites, the new management drastically increased my rates—doubling to tripling my previous cost—and added charges inconsistent with my original agreement. Despite my payment method remaining valid, management has consistently refused to return my phone calls, emails, or messages to discuss these unauthorized discrepancies. ​To make matters worse, when trying to renew my contract, I discovered I was unilaterally placed on the Do Not Rent (DNR) list with no prior notification, explanation, or recourse, while my attempts to contact management continue to be completely ignored. ​If you value consistent billing, transparency, and accessible customer service, beware of renting from this specific LGA location under its current leadership.

  Very disappointing experience at LGA as a National Executive Elite and Enterprise Platinum member. My original rental agreement clearly stated my rate was valid for up to 330 days. However, when I returned to the counter after the first month for a routine 30-day administrative rewrite, the team refused to acknowledge my established rate and tried to charge a drastically higher price instead. After spending over three hours at the counter, I ended up paying a higher rate for a Full-Size SUV while driving a minivan telling me that this is an upgrade. If you reserve a long-term rental here with a good rate, be prepared that after the first month they may not honor it.
