  I only needed an inspection this visit, but as usual everyone was pleasant and professional. They spotted a nail in one tire and repaired it, which shows how thorough they are. Monro has not let me down yet!

  They’re open on Sundays! I was soooo grateful for that when I got a flat last Sunday and needed to have it fixed to get to a family event later that day. Fix was done in under an hour and both the front desk staff member and mechanic who worked on my vehicle were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I couldn’t be happier with this visit!

  I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at Monro Tire. I am not one to leave negative reviews, but this is simply unacceptable. My mother in law brought in my 2024 Mazda CX5 lease vehicle with only 18,000 miles on it for an inspection. The car is driven locally around town and has absolutely no reason to need major brake work at this point. Monro told me my brakes were at “40% friction surface”, claimed the rotors were rusted, and said all brakes needed to be changed. They tried to charge my mother-in-law around $750 for the work. I should add that I have almost the entire interaction on video. When we declined the repair because the car is a newer lease and still under warranty, they failed the inspection. The associate attempted to instill fear into my mother in law by stating “I know if that was my daughter or mother, I would never put them in this car.” What made this even more concerning is that it appears they did not even remove the tires to properly inspect the brakes. The reason I know this is because the key needed to remove the tires was not in my vehicle, and I was informed by Mazda that there is no “master key”. So- either they did not remove a tire at all (which according to NYS law they are required to and need to notate it on my paperwork), or they still have the key and did not return it to me. Neither option is acceptable in my opinion. Not to mention, they tore off my stickers leaving adhesive on my windshield and rendered my car un-drivable. Afterward, I took the same vehicle to Burdick Mazda. They inspected it and told me the brakes were at 90% and perfectly fine. Burdick Mazda also confirmed there were no actual issues with my rotors. Any minor surface rust was not a safety issue and would come off through normal use/braking. My vehicle ended up passing inspection with flying colors, with no added work needed. In my opinion, it felt like Monro knew we were in urgent need of an inspection before a road trip and tried to take advantage of the situation, sacrificing all integrity during the process. Thankfully, we had other options and other vehicles available, even though mine was preferred for the trip. Based on this experience, I would not trust this location for an honest inspection or repair recommendation.
