  Always a great experience! Our salesman, Daniel, has helped us get in our last few trucks and he's always a pleasure to work with. He's very accommodating and helpful. I would recommend him and Joe basil. He works out the kinks and treats my family like his family. Thank you to the Joe Basil family and Dan for putting us in my new truck today and for being so patient and persistent!

  Justin and Mike were extremely helpful and we are so far very happy with our new 2027 Traverse. It's taking some getting used to as it is very different from our 2015 Impala that we really did love. It is our hope that we have the same wonderful experience with our new Traverse. We chose Basil Chevrolet because a few years ago I experienced a flat time with my Impala near the Basil service shop and they were very helpful to me then and I said when it came time to purchase a new vehicle I would definitely come back to Basil. I highly recommend Basil Chevrolet and Justin Smith, sales.

  If you receive a letter from Joe Basil saying you'll receive so much for your trade in and if you come in on a specific date they will give you an additionally amount dont believe it .... bait and switch! They will offer you waaaay less for your trade in. Told me the number on the sheet was the value of my truck plus added date special. I knew the trade in value of my truck before i went in there. This was BS IMO. DONT TRUST. Do your research before going here!

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Joe Basil Chevrolet. My vehicle has been sitting at the dealership for about a week, and I still cannot get a clear answer on when someone is even going to look under the hood and diagnose the problem. I have been told it could be a week, two weeks, or possibly longer. I understand that service departments can get busy, but telling a customer, “We don’t know,” after having their vehicle for an entire week is not good enough. I am not asking for the vehicle to be completely repaired overnight. I am simply asking for someone to inspect it, diagnose the issue, and give me some idea of what I am dealing with. This is even more frustrating because I have had issues with this vehicle since shortly after I purchased it. Within the first week of leaving the lot, my check engine light came on, and I have had several check engine lights come on and go off throughout the time I have owned the vehicle. Now I am dealing with an engine-related problem, and I do not even know whether it is something that may still be covered under a powertrain, emissions, or other warranty because no one has diagnosed the vehicle yet. My bumper-to-bumper warranty has expired, but that does not automatically mean there is no other coverage available. I need an actual diagnosis before I can even know what my options are. This situation has created a major hardship for me. I am a single parent on a fixed income, and I depend on my vehicle for my job as a computer technician because I have to travel to different locations for work. I also rely on my vehicle for my family’s everyday needs. Being left without transportation and without any clear timeline is extremely stressful. To make matters worse, there are supposedly no loaners or rentals available because there is always a waiting list. So my vehicle is sitting at the dealership, I have no diagnosis, no reliable ETA, no transportation, and no real answers. What bothers me the most is the lack of communication and urgency. Customers should not have to repeatedly call just to find out whether anyone has even looked at their vehicle. After spending thousands of dollars on a vehicle, I expected better treatment and better customer service. At this point, I am asking for something very reasonable: give me a realistic timeframe, diagnose my vehicle, tell me whether the problem is covered under any remaining warranty, and communicate with me. This entire experience has been exhausting, frustrating, and unacceptable. I hope Joe Basil Chevrolet takes situations like this more seriously because customers depend on their vehicles for their jobs, their families, and their everyday lives. Update: Still no email back from Jacob and also copied basilcares in the email. Basil really dont care unless you have alot of money and is spending it at this location

  My son recently purchased a used 2022 Chevy Silverado trail boss. After 2 days of receiving the vehicle the transmission seemed to be skipping. Called and wanted to get into service right away and was told there are no appointments until the following week. He was leaving on a trip and took to a dealer in Virginia and they stated the transmission fluid was low and needed to be changed ($300). Upon return it was taken to Basil and they said there was too much fluid??? Now the the engine light came on and said engine power is reduced. The vehicle was dropped off on Sunday and had to constantly call to check on it just to be told the guy wasn’t in to look at it. Got the vehicle back today and all they did was change the oil and said to come in 1,000 miles. I’m aggravated that his concerns aren’t being dealt with properly . He put down a large amount to buy a vehicle that I feel something is seriously wrong with and would like someone to address his concerns. Just want a safe and reliable vehicle for him and feel this vehicle is not either. Is there someone he can contact? Thank you!
