Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples.
Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.
There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

I called Mavis and spoke to crystal and when I called and asked for help. I explained to her what was going on and what was happening . So she told me to bring it on down and she get me in and check it out. She also wanted to make sure it was safe due to I have three small children. Thank you crystal for everything you did and I really appreciate it all. You went out and beyond on everything… keep up the outstanding job you do and the honesty you do… thank you for not ripping me off on stuff I didn’t need..

I hate writing negative reviews, but after this experience, I feel like I have to warn others.
For about four years, I brought my Honda SUV to the Mavis on Deer Park Avenue because they had always treated me well. They were close to my job, convenient, and I had grown to trust their recommendations whenever my car needed maintenance or repairs.
Everything changed when I brought my car in for my annual inspection last month.
I went in expecting that I would probably need front brakes. Instead, I was told I needed front brakes and two new rear tires. I approved the work. When I got home, I noticed my front passenger tire was losing air. I filled it up, but the next morning it was low again, so I brought it back to have the leak repaired.
While I was there, I decided to wait for the repair. During that visit, all four wheels were removed, and because the regional manager happened to be there, I was told I also needed new shocks and struts. I don't know much about cars, but after being a loyal customer for years, I trusted their recommendation and authorized the repair.
For context, my Honda SUV only has about 65,000 miles on it and is driven almost entirely on the highway.
The very next day, my car began shaking whenever I drove over 55 mph and whenever I applied the brakes. I brought it back again. This time, I was told I needed rear brakes and a driver's side control arm.
I asked how these problems weren't identified when the vehicle had been on a lift multiple times over the previous several days. Instead of getting an explanation, I felt like I was met with an attitude. I was told the control arm was "spraying grease everywhere" and that they could send me a picture. My concern wasn't whether there was a picture—it was how something that significant wasn't noticed during all of the previous repairs.
Then I was told I needed rear brakes. I explained that Mavis had replaced those brakes in October. I was initially told that couldn't be right because they had checked their records and it had been "a year ago." After asking them to check again, they admitted I was correct—it had been done in October. They agreed to cover the brake parts under warranty, but still wanted to charge me labor.
At that point, I lost confidence and decided to have my vehicle inspected elsewhere.
The independent mechanic I brought it to had a very different opinion. He told me that, in his professional judgment, it was unlikely that my vehicle actually needed both shocks and struts at only 65,000 highway miles. He also told me the control arm boot appeared to have been damaged during the suspension work, consistent with contact from a suspension tool, and that the damage ultimately required replacement of both control arms. He also found damage to the CV axle that needed to be repaired.
I understand that different mechanics can have different opinions, but after everything that happened, I was left wondering whether all of the repairs I paid for were truly necessary. Between the repairs I authorized at Mavis and the additional repairs I had to pay another mechanic to perform, I have spent well over $5,000.
The trust I built over four years disappeared in the span of a few weeks.
Based on my experience, I will never return to this location, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. If you value honest communication and confidence in the work being performed on your vehicle, I would encourage you to get a second opinion before authorizing major repairs here.

Came in to have all rotors and brake pads on my 2013 BMW X1 and didn't even have to talk much to get a great deal on the fixes. Crystal and Nicole were on top of everything and if I could describe it in simple terms, I literally dropped the car off and picked it up with full satisfaction while being worry free in knowing my car is in good hands. Thank you to the technicians for an excellent service and will be coming back for future projects. Keep up the good work!!!!
