  I’ve been going to same place for years . This time was horrible !!!! I waited over an hour for an oil change with only one car in front of me. The employees had no idea what he was doing. I had to call for the manager 3 times !!!

  I have been a customer of Valvoline for a number of years and since moving to Liverpool 5 years ago I have frequented the one on Oswego rd. I usually have a wonderful experience and have nothing but great things to say. Today was different: I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. While trying to get my air filter box open they shared that they had accidentally dropped one of the pins that holds the box on down into the car. The mechanic continuously went on and on about how it wasn’t that big of a deal and it would probably take a long time to get it out because they would have to take my whole skid plate off. He also said more than once that for a car with only 30k miles on it— it shouldn’t have given them this much trouble… Again they dropped it and then casually made it seem like they were doing me a favor and saving me time by not going to get it.. they also said that they dropped it down in there but couldn’t see it but they were 100% sure it was probably there….. When they walked me to the lobby so my tires could be rotated they said that they would “try to help me out” because at this point I had asked that they retrieve the piece that the dropped…. So glad the were willing to help fix the problem that the caused.. My car just hit 30k and it is a 2025. I have not even owned it for 2 years. I am not a car person or mechanically inclined and it could have ended up being no big deal if it did live on my skid plate— however I do not like to be told about an issue they caused and then making me feel like it’s more work and that I’m being difficult when I ask them to fix the problem that they caused. I replace my cars often due to driving a lot for work so most of my maintence is done through Valvoline as I usually only require oil changes and tire rotations. Sadly I do not believe I will bring my business back to Valvoline. **to be transparent: accidents and mistakes happen. I was not mad that they dropped the piece. I was upset with the way that their mistake was shared and handled.

  Asst Mgr Brian is awesome! Went for just an oil change, but I left with a lot of information and have a better understanding on time-frames of filter changes and other services.

  Sometimes a genuine smile is all you need to start a pleasant interaction. Valvoline is Valvoline, they are the same with just minor differences… ie; how hard they try to upsell a service, or just a minor recommendation for an add on. It’s the people that make a difference… and Maxie, well the smile was contagious. It’s just an oil change and some great people skills. I’d come here again

  They were absolutely wonderful. The Manager and assistant manager were so kind and helpful, They walked me through every step they were doing, explained the necessary services and explained other options I could consider. There was no pressure to add on additional services like I have gotten at other auto shops. Quick, easy and painless!
