- JLJohn Lu4 days ago5.0I was here early May for a NYS Inspection, it was around 1pm on a Saturday and they said the wait was approx 30mins. They got me in and got my out quickly. Daniel was the inspection tech, he was very polite and friendly. Wanted to share my experience b/c sometimes these "quick lube" gets a bad rap.
- NANicholas AgrippinoMay 11, 20261.0Inspector doesn’t know what he is doing. Car came straight from a reliable mechanic, writes it up for a fail on 2 things, both of which are incorrect. 1. Told me my car is leaking gas. Just came from the pump and a tiny bit spilled, so he said he smelled it. I asked “where it was leaking then?” Points to the floor where there is A/C water. He took that one off the inspection report after I put my hand in it and asked if I needed to drink some to prove a point? 2. Tells me my ebrake isn’t working because “it still goes forward when pressing on the gas and it’s on”. I litterally just replaced my ebrake with other work this week. Called my mechanic and he said an ebrake doesn’t hold back engine power and a car can still move with an ebrake on. A simple google search tells you the same thing. Store also opens at 7:30AM and they informed me they didn’t have an inspector in until 9AM when I got there to be first at 7:15AM. So I left and came back and then told me two other people were in front of me for inspections when I returned at 8:45AM. So had to wait a total of 3 hours to get an inspection done by someone that clearly doesn’t even know what he is doing.

More people NEED to be like Daniel!! He helped me move some things!! He was just an amazing person from the word Go!! He needs a RAISE!!! Losing him will hurt Valvoline!! So w/that being said…Valvoline keep him Happy & give him a raise!! =]. I enjoyed my 1st visit w/Valvoline!! 5 out of 5!!! Daniel 10 out of 10!!!
