Had a wonderful unexpected experience at Mavis in Cicero. I stopped to get air at the pump station and realized I had a nail in my tire. I went Into Mavis and told me how much it would cost. Once all done that didn't charge me to fix the tire. I was greatful for the friendly staff and appreciate their help.

I had a great experience at Mavis Discount Tire, and I especially want to recognize Cody, the Assistant Manager. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and made the entire experience easy and stress-free. Cody was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping me out. You can tell he takes pride in his work and in making sure customers are satisfied. Great customer service from start to finish — I highly recommend Mavis and especially Cody!

Failed my New York State inspection and claimed my E brake was not engaging, but it literally worked right before we took it into get it inspected. I’m not sure what they messed with to make it not work as when I got home. It was not engaging like it was that morning, but I’m a mechanic and took everything apart. Put it back together and it worked just fine and got it inspected somewhere else. I recommend never bringing your cars to The Cicero location or the Tip hill location.

The service started fine I made an appointment for a tire and inspection. I was told I failed my inspection for wipers followed by a quote of $80 per wiper . “The dealer is going for 220 best I can do from around here is $80, so that’ll be 160ish we won’t charge you to put them on”. I knew that was ridiculous so I literally went next door to autozone and got both wipers for $64 (my car doesn’t use universal). While there I asked for them to put them on, the worker said they failed you got these they aren’t even that bad. I went right back few minutes later and was told I’d have to wait another hour for a reinspection, even though they knew they JUST performed the inspection and all I needed was the blades. I’d been there since 11am it’s currently 2pm “ I can’t just skip you in front of the other 2 people”. I personally don’t feel that’s skipping, I just wanted the service I came waited and paid for finished. I’d been waiting longer than anyone left there anyway. Had you been honest upfront I could’ve walked next door to get the blades during the inspection. Otherwise friendly however I did not appreciate this exchange at all and felt very hustled for lack of a better word.
