  One of the worst customer service I ever experienced

  Last week I needed coolant. The young associate offered to assist in opening my hood and showing me where I needed to pour the fluid after waiting for the engine to cool. I asked her "Are you sure?" and she replied yes. I had a passenger in my vehicle attest to this. I was on my way to visit my palliative mother at the hospital so after the 30 minutes, I put the coolant where she instructed me to do so. It was the master cylinder. I drove about ten miles not knowing the extensive damage that was being done to my brake line. $2700.00 car repair bill was the result of the wrong information that this employee gave me. I trusted this employees knowledge and her confidence made me feel like it wasn't necessary to triple check. Upon verbal complaint I was met with a defensive, low key rude response from a DM who basically blamed me while chastising me for listening to an employee who "didn't have any mechanical knowledge of autos" Rather sounded like he was dumbing down his own employees. If customers knew all about the products needed and where to properly put them, they wouldn't ask in the first place. I ate the bill and was coldly informed there would be no compensation. Regardless of fault, this was a VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE

  Absolute worst AutoZone I've been at. They didn't have 5 quart jugs of oil, didn't have the correct common filter, and it took three people to successfully and accurately ring me up for just oil and a filter, with me having to correct them on the pricing multiple times before it got to the correct amount based on a deal that has been running continuously on STP products for years now. Despite there being five people standing around I had to ask for a receipt and the one guy was extremely disrespectful. If it was a training thing I'd be understanding but this was just very poor customer service. Will not be back.

  Shout out to store employee Januel M. We came in with a bad car battery and he helped us tremendously. They didn't had the correct battery so he helped call around all the AutoZones in the area to help find us a solution.

  Their staff Freddy helped me with my car battery and shared a lot of useful information about car maintenance. Definitely a 5-star experience!
