- DWDennis WilliamsMay 31, 20261.0Absolutely ridiculous. I placed an online order for a clearance item that showed 22 units in stock. Not one, not two—22. While I was driving to the store to pick it up, I got a call saying they suddenly had none available. It’s hard not to believe this happened because the item was marked down from $12.99 to $1.25. The timing is way too convenient. If the item was truly out of stock, why did the website still show 22 available? Either the inventory system is completely broken, or the store didn’t want to honor the clearance price. I wasted my time, gas, and effort because the store couldn’t provide accurate inventory information or fulfill an order they accepted. Don’t advertise products as available if you have no intention of selling them. Very disappointing experience and terrible customer service.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
