I worked with Scott Romany to lease my Volvo XC60. I have always dreaded when my lease was coming due and the thought of having to deal with leasing another car, always feeling like I was getting the runaround or scammed in someway. But this time around I am so happy I found Scott, he made it seamless and painless. He answered all of my questions and encouraged me to ask anything. He sat with me in the car, went over many of the features, he took his time with me. I drove away, feeling confident that I received the best deal and a great car. I know if any questions come up I can contact him, and he will be responsive. I pray he stays with Volvo for many more years and that I have the pleasure of working with him. It is such a sense of relief to have someone I can trust and rely on. His presence at Volvo will greatly influence my decision to lease another car with them in three years.

My wife’s first time in a car dealership. She did a bunch of research and landed on the EX40. She scheduled a test drive and got one verbal and two written confirmations for the EX40 specifically. We spent $45 in an Uber to get there only to find out there was no EX40 to test drive. Earlier in the day, I brought my BMW to get serviced, they paid for an Uber for me to get home. Given that, I figured I’d ask if they’d do the same for us to get home. They declined. As a former Volvo owner, I’m so disappointed in the Manager of that branch for declining what could have saved their reputation. If it weren’t for me, my wife wouldn’t have considered a Volvo. Now she is questioning my endorsement - I don’t blame her, so am I.

A few days ago I bought a car in this place and I am very pleased and grateful to Scott Rozany for making a wonderful deal for me. It was my first car, so I was very nervous. But he was very friendly and helped me a lot. I'm very grateful

I cannot say enough good things about this dealership, but I’ll try! Let’s start with the kind, warm, and charming staff. The receptionist was so sweet, greeted me immediately, and asked me to wait a few minutes for my appt that I was early for, and she directed me to the nice coffee machine that also gives tea and hot chocolate. She forgot to mention the snacks to me, but my salesman Richard brought me some when he heard I missed out. The place is pristine with a good lineup selection for the small space, along with branded gear nicely displayed. Now the best part: it was the single most comfortable car-buying experience I have ever had. No bad-mouthing other brands, no “yeah yeah yeah-ing” me with my questions or considerations. They gave me the overviews of the service add-ons, with ZERO pressure or guilting into buying. Another dealership once tried to get me to buy into roadside assistance by playing into my fears as a woman, “oh, what if you get a flat on the highway… all by yourself… it’s not safe!” Gross. Nothing like that here. No extra hidden fees, agreements in plain language, and financing options laid out right in front of you. Richard did his best to price match a listing from a dealer in NJ, and got close enough. The finance officer Jose was also lovely. The wait to close was a little long, but only owing to a technical issue instead of a crappy pressure tactic I’ve also been subjected to. Richard checked on me every so often to let me know I was next, and helped me sort out an insurance issue in minutes. Then to top it off, I come out to a giant red bow on my new hoopdie and a hand written note of congratulations. Plus some branded Brooklyn Volvo swag. Just an all around classy joint. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend. One caveat: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. This place is hopping with a constant customer flow. A few walk-ins had to wait until a salesperson freed up- one “customer” was a real jerk about it, but this is not a place that has 50 over-aggressive people twiddling their thumbs waiting around for the next victim to pounce on. A place like this, you get what you pay for, and it’s worth it.

We worked with Richard Mac at Brooklyn Volvo to purchase a CPO hybrid xc60. We had some particular wants for the car (low mileage, plug in hybrid, denim blue, specific interior) and he was excellent. Over a series of weeks he worked to find us an excellent option and helped us make an excellent decision. He was a great communicator and very transparent. A great experience.
