I have mixed feelings about my experience here. Before coming to Mavis, two different mechanics refused to do an alignment on my car, explicitly telling me that my front tires needed to be replaced first. When I brought my car to Mavis, I mentioned exactly what the other mechanics said. The staff told me they would let me know if they saw any issues.
In the end, they went ahead and did the alignment with "no problem." It doesn't make sense to me why two separate independent shops would turn down the work out of safety/technical recommendations, but Mavis took the job without a word. It makes me question if the alignment was even done properly or if they just wanted to charge me. Proceed with caution.

Came here after enduring a terrible experience elsewhere. The employee who was working the front was warm, helpful, and informative. When I expressed concern over not having the wheel lock I didn't know I needed for my new-to-me used car, he explained that they might have the right size but if not, they could tell me which size to buy. They did have the correct size, and changed the unnecessary locks for standard lug nuts for a fair price that was stated upfront. Great, prompt service and they let me know what work needed to be done without pressuring me to spend more money. I will definitely be returning and this location (as well as the one in Pleasantville) both give the chain a great reputation.

Very bad experience. I called asked I f they were busy. Left my job at 9:30 a.m. and got there when they were not busy. I asked to check fire sounds I heard at the front entrance b of the vehicle. The msgagef was very aggresivexabd tied the mechanic not to work on my vehicle. He indicated that I should tskecthe car back to wherever changed my Struts.
I called Coroerate headquarters and made my complaint. They Offered me$20 and apologized. They wanted me c to g o to an I there location however I refused the $20 offer and requestedvthatvthe matter be addressed and I receive something on writing.
T g e person took back the $20 abd indicated that the matter will be escalated.
Such disrespect.
