  I’m writing this review about the AutoZone at 575 Utica Avenue, and I really hope someone from corporate or management actually sees this. I went there today to buy an oxygen sensor for my car. Right from the start, the employees were pretty rude and had absolutely no customer service skills. I was in a rush because my repair shop was about to close, so when they gave me the sensor in a package that was already ripped and beat up, I didn’t think much of it and just took it. I got to my car and, while leaving the parking lot, decided to quickly check the sensor. To my surprise, it was completely broken and looked like it had already been used. I immediately went back inside with my receipt. It had literally been only 2–3 minutes since I bought it, and I hadn’t even left the store area. I explained everything to the cashier and asked if they could simply exchange it for another one. Instead of helping me, he started accusing me of using or breaking the sensor myself. I told him to look at the receipt and check the time — I had just bought it minutes ago! But instead of handling the situation professionally, he and the other employees kept arguing with me. After going back and forth for a while, I told them I was going to call the police. Only then did they finally refund my money. Honestly, this was a terrible experience. If you buy anything from this location, check the package and the actual part before you leave the counter. I received a damaged package with a broken sensor and then was treated like I was the one who damaged it. There are also a bunch of mechanics hanging around the parking lot, and I have no idea if they're connected to the store or not, so I’m not going to accuse anyone of anything. But seeing that definitely made me wonder how returned or used parts are being handled at this location. Management really needs to look into this store and, more importantly, how customers are being treated. I’ve never had to argue this much just to return something that was clearly damaged when I received it. I definitely won’t be going back to this location.

  If I could give 0 stars I would. By far the worst AutoZone I’ve been to. Two problems, both of which cost you a sale. First, the parking lot. Men doing mechanical work out there approached my car and asked me to roll down my window. And they were not simply offering mechanical work. Not just one, several of them. As a woman arriving alone, that is not a safe environment, and it’s happening on your property. Whether or not they’re affiliated with the store, customers have no way to tell and they’re a reason I won’t return. Second, the register. I waited over 20 minutes with items in hand and only a few customers ahead of me. The line never moved. There were 3 registers opened. Which means it was not an isolated problem. Staff appeared unable to transfer transactions to the PIN pad and spent the entire time struggling with the system. Nobody acknowledged the wait or opened another register. The store itself is well stocked, I found everything I needed. I put all of it back and left without buying a thing, then bought the same products elsewhere. If you can’t staff a register or keep your lot clear, the inventory doesn’t matter.

  Went to this location for the time with my daughter who has autism. While waiting for help she started stimming. We got what we needed and proceeded to leave…. When I got to my car.. security guard… a short African man proceeded to tell me I should look up some video on YouTube about Lucifer. Because it might be demon or spirits affecting her!! I looked at him and asked him if he has children or knows anyone with autism ? He said NO! So my question is… why does anyone working at Autozone that barely speaks English think they can diagnose my child? ?!!It was a really disgusting experience!
