  Extremely efficient service (less than 30 minutes). Very professional and polite staff. I noticed that it is probably the cleanest shop I’ve ever been in, which means they take pride in doing a good job as well!

  I took my leased car to this Valvoline and the mechanic failed it for the annual safety inspection- citing brakes were "distorted". Took it to another mechanic and everything was fine upon inspection. Nothing was wrong with the brakes in any way. Very strange experience. Just food for thought for state inspections here.

  oil change was fine. found a half-off coupon on their website so what i paid was reasonable. one employee was really nice. the manager was kind of gruff and concentrated on upselling. "you don't want the maximum protection for your engine? ok." tried to get me to replace my air filter for a big chunk of change. i found a filter for $11 at walmart and a youtube video showed me how install it myself in 10 seconds. lesson: use coupons. figure out how to do stuff yourself. don't let them bait you into paying out the nose for simple things.

  The employees at this Valvoline are very patronizing. They use scripted language to show the appearance of customer service, while providing little service or truthful information. I feel like I'm talking to an AI computer, because they stick to their rehearsed talking points. I was a loyal Valvoline customer for 30 years when we lived in Syracuse, but I am no longer going to this location. We finally found another Valvoline in Rochester that did the work in less time than it took this original location to explain why they didn't have time.

  I love valvoline most of the time. I was there two days in a row. Oil change day one. Very knowledgeable guy telling me about potential air conditioning person who can fix my A/C.He hooked up something that told him it was likely the compressor. I got New York State inspection day 2. Very happy to get inspection in about 20 minutes because you guys can get busy and it’s a great service. Told the guy doing it about my ac. I me too wind the compressor. He charged it for me and it was great…..for less than 24 hours. It doesn’t work at all today, one day later. I hope I can get refunded the $200 because the job is not done right.
