  Charged $250 service fee ON TOP of the tire price, for changing two tires… I had to wait 3 hours whereas I was told it would only take 1 hour. This was a crazy experience, absolutely never going back again. Nothing but a scam.I DO NOT recommend going here unless you want to get scammed and also waste hours of your time while you’re at it.

  They lie about their pricing. They won’t tell you about an additional 300 dollars for labor work. They will tell you just the price for the tire, at the end they will tell you a complete different price. Terrible and liars would not recommend.

  Tldr: Do not ever go here. To preface this review, I never write reviews on Google despite having had bad experiences with other businesses. That being said, I find it necessary to write a review detailing the absolutely horrible experience I had at Mr. Tire in hopes that anyone reading this may consider a better business. This location deserves more 1 star reviews than are shown on Google Maps. While driving home after visiting family upstate, my check engine light started blinking. Luckily, I was about 2 minutes outside of Binghamton and was able to get it to the nearest shop, which ended up being Mr. Tire on Court Street. After diagnosing the problems with the vehicle, I was quoted a substantial amount of money to have the engine repaired, and was also upsold a "tune up" for another $300 that the main desk worker assured was necessary. I gave them the go ahead, and waited 3 hours while they worked on my car. The car was finally finished, and seemed to be working just fine. However, while driving on NY-17 no more than 40 minutes later, the check engine light starts blinking again. I was close to the nearest town, so I was hoping to find another mechanic to work on the car. Instead, the engine started completely seizing up, causing me to pull over to the side of the road. The car was inoperable at this point, so I had to wait on the side of the road for 5 hours for my car to be towed back to Binghamton. The next day, the same mechanic told me that my engine was not repairable... Not wanting to wait around in Binghamton for another week, I sold the car for parts and got a rental car to get back home 5 hours away. If this experience didn't sound bad enough, the process of getting a refund is even worse. I have been in the process of trying to receive a refund for over a month now. "Guest Services" says it is a problem for the "Claims" department, and Claims says it is a problem for Guest Services. Whenever I am told that I will receive a call back from either of the two departments, I never receive one. There are points were I feel that I am intentionally being hung up on or ignored, as if the representatives are pretending that they can't hear me when my calls go through. I feel that I am being completely reasonable with them, but I am being thrown in multiple directions in attempts to get me to give up. All I want is a definitive answer to whether or not I will be receiving a refund, and I can't seem to get even that. I can only hope that anyone else with a similar experience won't have as much of a problem as I am having.

  If I could give this place a zero, I would. Worst place I have ever gone. Took them 3 hours for an inspection and ended up not passing, which is my issue, not theirs. Could of hooked machine up and plus I scheduled it worse experience by far
