  Please avoid this Safelite location. I opted to have my windshield replaced here through a GEICO claims after seeing they had a 4.5 review score. Upon picking up my car I noticed the technician broke 7 to 8 of the 12 clips that secure the belt line trim the as it was no longer attached to the car at the bottom of the window, having lifted about 1/4 inch off the car. Instead of replacing them, they used masking tape to hold the trim down once I brought this issue to their attention. The staff initially tried to play it off as nothing was wrong. Only after I made it clear that the clips were broken from their install did they acknowledge it. Within hours their temporary tape failed completely, leaving the lower belt line trim unsecured and lifting. The most frustrating part about this is I had contacted Safelite in advance to bringing my car in, to make sure they had all the parts, even gave them the part numbers to these clips to add to notes of the order as the clips prior to installation. They never added these to the order. They had ample time to get the parts needed, as the glass for my car was delayed. I was forced to escalate this directly to GEICO and Safelite Corporate Warranty in order to get in contact with management of this location and will need to return for the proper re-work. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

  Honestly, this place saved me from more expenses and anxiety. A rock hit my windshield a left a huge circular crack with little cracks radiating from it. The staff was friendly, informative and super quick to repair what could have been an entire process that took time and more money. Maybe half an hour, and I was out the door with a fixed crack and knowing it will last till I can replace the entire windshield.

  I had a great experience at safelite in Bayshore L.I . Booking my windshield replacement appointment was a breeze , they contacted my insurance company and made the claim for me. All I had to do was show up. The employees were very knowledgeable and completed the repair in half the time they allotted for. I would definitely recommend safelite at Bayshore LI . Great job!!!!! Thanks.
